state. two years after the big oil spill in the gulf of mexico, scientists say that they will be finding sick fish along the offshore reef. they say it's a small percentage of fish. they are not sure if it is the spill that is the cause or if it is normal for you. they said that the illnesses do not pose the increased health risk to people and they could certainly have an impact on those who will make their living touching them. people that make their living off the blue crabs in chesapeake bay are getting some good news for you tonight. we're going to share it with you coming up.

according to freddie mac, the average rate for a 30-year fixed mortgage is up just a tenth of a point to 3.9%. but that's still hovering pretty close to the record lows. the federal housing finance agency is also putting in new rules in place for you to make short sales live up to their name. you know they are not short and they don't always result in a sale. that's because the bank that

holds the mortgage, they must agree to accept the offer that will be less than what a homeowner owes. and the deal is often fallen apart, while the other parties wait for the bank to make a decision. and now the federal agency over seeing fannie mae and freddie mac says that lenders need to review and respond to the short sale requests within 30 days ask can and make a final decision within 60. well, the picture is a little fuzzy, but they sent us this photo of the line outside the washington convention center this morning. and these are all homeowners looking for some help. the sound of the clapping plastic hands means that someone just sured a new affordable mortgage payment. >> and it saved me from $2,900 a month down to $1,300 a month. >> she nearly lost her home, but the corporation of america helped her save it.

what's up, guys? one hour until game time. it's expected to be the consecutive sellout here at the verizon center. i'll tell you what, they will need every one of those voices tonight. not game 7, but it certainly feels like a must-winter tour and here is why. game three for you. and they are blasting home this slapper shot, and they just tied the game four minutes earlier. so it will be stepped up tonight. they are down 1-3. and teams in that predictment, they lose about 90% of the time. >> and it is pivotal. it's a great word. you'll need to set yourself up. you don't want to go to the other team down here, facing elias abuelazam limb nation against a -- an elimination against a team like that. >> that will guarantee another game back here and you know bring this series back here. and that will be the goals extended for you. and back here in washington. >> and they hope that they could man up the pipes tonight. they played lights out in game
