young girls. and that breaking news comes to us out of mississippi. two little girls kidnapped nearly two weeks ago have been found safe. the man who grabbed them is dead. that is adam mayes, the expected killer on the fbi's ten most wanted list. they happened to spot mayes and the girls in a wooded area. right now they're checking 8-year-old alexandria bain and her sister kyliyah. he killed the mother so he could claim the girls as his own. gp morgan chase, the nation's largest bank, we have a story. matt jablow joins us live. >> reporter: just when you thought wall street might have learned to the enormous mistake, along come today's news from jp

morgan. a breath taking $2 billion loss. four years after the nation's economy was brought to its knees, in part by losses and risky investments made by the major wall street banks, jp more began chase announced it lost $2 million from similar investments in the conference call after the market closed. jp morgan chairman said there were many errors, sloppiness and bad judgment. >> the bank wasn't trading. >> reporter: peter agrees. >> the culture of jp morgan breeds this kind of nonsense. >> reporter: he compared jp morgan's chairman to a local bookie. >> the difference between diamond and the guy making book on the coroner on the horses is jamie wears a good suit and he's not interested in making loans. he's interested in taking your deposits and gambling with it. he just gambled and lost.

>> reporter: the $2 billion in losses were not just bad but embarrassing for jp morgan whose chairman is an outspoken critic of the voga rule which aims from making bank's risky movement with their own money. >> it's going to be really tough for mr. diamond to argue against it now. >> reporter: as difficult as the $2 billion loss will be for jp morgan, he's said it's certain will not bring the bank down. when asked if he will keep making these type of risky mistakes, he said absolutely. >> thank you, matt. president obama having a high dollar dinner with actor george clooney at his house. the cost to attend, a mere $40,000. the obama campaign is hoping to raise at least $14 million tonight. meanwhile, the obama campers are

using the president's comments for gay marriage to the gop. lawmakers are weighing in on how the president's position will play in november. >> it had to do about -- with who he is, what he believes is right for america. our families have values and our faith in the future. anything about the politics is incidental. >> i believe marriage is the union between one man and one woman. and the president and the democrats can talk about all of this all they want. but the fact is, the american people are focused on our economy and they're asking a question where are the jobs. >> and much has been made of the timing of the president's declaration and how the vice president's own statement of -- the plan had been for the president to announce his support for same sex marriage on the view next week. well, teddy roosevelt once

called the white house the bully pulpit. now there is a possibility that the man that wants to live there next january might be a former bully. the washington post found the story from mitt romney's childhood and gary nurenberg is here to tell us more about it. gary. >> reporter: well, it happened in 19 65, derek, when romney was in a private high school where non-conformity was frowned upon and where romney according to five of his classmates led a group of students in an attack in a boy who later identified himself as gay. those classmates told the post romney held down the kid who was believed to be gay and cut off splotches of his hair as the victim cried and yelled for help. a romney classmate who was there, phillip maxwell, called it an assault and battery. >> i remember that incident and i certainly don't believe that i or -- i can't speak for other people but the fellow that was homosexual, that was the furthest things from our minds.

>>. >> reporter: he doesn't dispute the account of his classmate. >> there is no question i did stupid things in high school. >> reporter: not at all unusual. >> the reality is there are a lot of kids that bully. >> reporter: lewis clouds is the chief of adolescent psychology at rush medical center. >> there is no connection to a person that bullies and what and who they are as adults. >> reporter: but would a bully really forget an incident like this? >> especially 30 or 40 years after the time, it wouldn't be unreasonable somebody would remember. >> reporter: so as a voter considering romney, does the incident tell me anything about what kind of president he might be? >> it doesn't. >> reporter: classmates say that romney was a prankster but not a vicious one, and there are no other reports thus far of behavior like this. he was better known at the time as civically engaged volunteering in high school at a mental institution. anita. a toddler is fighting for their life tonight after nearly

drowning in a bathtub. emergency crews responded to the home on the 10th street of laurel just a short time ago after family members found this child submerged. right now investigators are working on the idea that the toddler may have been left unattended. a drug that claims to prevent hiv tends to be on approval. today federal health advisors recommended the daily pill travado for people who are at high risk of contracting hiv. the fda is not required to follow the advice but it usually does. a decision is expected by june 15th. the studies of rosa parks now structure of washington national cathedral. take a look. tonight they dedicated a carving of the civil rights action. it's for those that fight for equality and physical justice. it's cut from stone that is literally holding up the wall of

the cathedral. 28 people are in some hot water tonight after the fbi busted open a big time cocaine trafficking ring in northern virginia. those suspects were told are all from honduras and the cocaine was being smuggled in and packaged inside wooden frames and other sort of touristy tring its. >> i made a very serious mistake. >> john edwards from an interview back in 2008 admits to the affair with mistress real hunter but refuses fathering her child. they played the tape for the jurors. he's accused of using campaign funds to cover up the affair. the defense begins its case on monday. well, better states than smoldering. metro buying 95 brand new buses

replacing several buses, two that burst into flames. metro has fired an employee that it says caused a train to derail last month at a stop. nobody hurt but that hitch caused some major league delays. life in prison without parole. that is a sentence for cyril williams. brown was working security at the applebee's in forest hill when he tossed adams out of the restaurant for urinating on the floor. williams came back and shot and killed brown in retaliation. a drum major dies, 11 band members charged with hazing and now the band director retires after 40 years with florida a&m university. julian white is giving up the baton. he died last november and his death led to the hazing charges plus several investigations still under way. julian white says he spent years trying to get the school to crack down on hazing. what you're about to say is just plain nasty. >> just nasty. and nine wants you to know we

have found some new places and some new food dangers in tonight's restaurants report. here is russ ptacek. >> reporter: we uncovered health department n violations in the district and fairfax county so serious investigators closed them until they fixed the risks. at mary's kitchen carry out on martin luther king, jr. southeast inspectors cited gross conditions and a dirty comode, unclean food services, mouse feces on the floor. >> so we wanted to see if you got these problems cleaned up. >> reporter: at the order window we found an empty bottle of high cholesterol wind, trash on the floor. the manager wasn't there. >> come back. >> reporter: in montgomery county, severe int infestation is what inspectors site for closing little far east ii. in fairfax county inspectors closed moby dick house of kebob

breastfeeding her three and a half-year-old son. now, the article is all about attachment parenting, which includes breastfeeding beyond the who recommended one year limit, co-sleeping and other practices. we talked with a child psychologist this evening who offered his insight into attachment parenting. >> it basically says if you're good enough parent and you're with your kids, that there's a better chance that they'll grow up better and stronger and have a better sense of themselves and a better sense of optimism about the world and have a sense about that people are generally good. >> and that doctor goes on to say that even though it might seem unusual to a lot of us and that picture kind of freaks us out, there is no scientific data to back up the opinion that breastfeeding a child past the age of one causes any harm at all. anita. mood swing, low sex drive, forgetfulness, it sounds like menopause. it's also manopause. it's for guys out there and the

women who love you. >> i was feeling tired. i didn't have a lot of energy. >> and fatigue is a much larger issue. >> i guess it's sex thing and we can't talk about that. >> i said i think it could be something more. >> reporter: after 28 years of marriage, jack's wife donna new something wasn't right. she urged him to see a doctor. blood tests revealed he had low testosterone which causes andropause which is also manopause. >> it's a hormone imbalance. i'm not used to men having that problem. but because myself i'm going through my own hormone difficulty. >> reporter: manopause is real and unlike female menopause, manopause can last decade. and what men are not suffering
