me. >> reporter: the bikers have roared into town but they may walk out of here in silence. >> it is real tough. you can't describe it. you have to live it. you have to be -- being a vet, i can understand it. but you see people down here that they lost somebody 30 years ago and it was just like yesterday. there were a lot of people that weren't in and they are proud of us too. it means a lot. >> reporter: ten new names have been etched on the memorial wall and were dedicated this month. i'm surae chinn for 9 news now. the president obama plans to mark the day with veterans and their families at the memorial. we have a gruesome attack overnight. tonight the white house is horrified by the violence in syria that has killed more than 90 people, 32 of them children. the international community also condemning those responsible for the attack.

the syrian government is blaming it on armed terrorist groups but has provided no details. the white house said the syrian regime responds with peaceful protest with unspeakable brutality. susan reports. >> reporter: amateur video shows dozens of bodies lining a mass grave in a syrian town of hula. activists say the people died when government forces shelled the town on friday. mourners surrounded united nations observers who arrived to investigate. the head of the u.n. team confirms more than 90 people, including 32 children under the age of 10, are dead. >> it is unacceptable attack on the future and on the aspirations of the syrian people. >> reporter: the massacre sparked protests throughout the streets of damascus and the white house released a

for me on the chilly side. the wakeup weather for us on the muggy side. we have mainly cloudy skies for the early morning and then we'll clear out with morning sunshine. we'll start off moving up quickly out of the 70s and back into the 80s and into the low 90s for some portions tomorrow. right now it is definitely a beautiful night out and about. our ocean city camera courtesy of fish tails looking good right now. again the temperatures are mostly in the 70s for many of us and then we'll see them drop back down a little bit closer to the upper 60s as we head to into the early morning hours. it is going to be a very warm and muggy night. right now and around the beltway we are still looking at temperatures sitting at about 75 degrees for arlington. 77 up in rockville and 76 toward sterling. and you'll see the cooler air move on through. well getting us to the lower 70s the further toward the east. andrews afb now at 73.

it is going to stay on the sunnyside. our humidity values and current conditions definitely on the muggy side. humidity is up to 74%. we are keeping the winds out of the south so we'll keep pumping in moisture as we head in toward tomorrow and even op monday. so here is what you need to know for the next 24-48 hours, the hot and humid conditions throughout tomorrow afternoon, air quality is deteriorating, we had a code orange, unhealthy for tomorrow and that means with the clouds tomorrow afternoon the possibility of a few isolated showers or even a thunderstorm moving on through toward the region. memorial day looks to be more of the same. more heat as we get close to the 90 degrees mark. the overnight will see a little bit of patchy fog in some locations for early tomorrow morning. but most of us are going to start out in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees. then as things start to progress, tomorrow afternoon we'll move out of the -- the morning, we'll move out of the 60s and in toward the upper 80s, topping out near 90 degrees. i think the city center has a good shot at 90 degrees.

we should especially see the 90s further back toward the west, expecting manassas to hit 90, about 91 for frederick and very warm all over, feeling more like july than like may. the forecast overall is going to feature a mix of -- feature a mix of sun and clouds. we start with morning clearing and fog. but by early afternoon we'll have sunshine as well as the clouds developing and the storm developing off toward the west. most of that rain will stay in the mountains and east of i-81. however we have the opportunity late in the day to see some of the showers and thunderstorms begin to pick up on monday afternoon and in toward the evening hours. i think it could be damp as you close out your weekend festivities but the better chance of rain is into tuesday as the cold front gets closer. that beach and boating forecast is not bad. temperatures still in the 70s and 80s for sunday and monday on the bay. we are looking good even as we move in toward the eastern shore. again that water temperature is not quite warm yet but it is
