there was another grizzly discovery today in syria. united nations observers found the bodies of 13 more executed victims. this comes days after another massacre that left more than 100 people dead. danielle nottingham has more. >> reporter: the united nations observers say they have discovered 13 more bodies in syria. the victims had their hands bound and appeared to be shot

at close range. u.n. envoy met with syrian president to discuss an end toes violence. >> we are at the tipping point. the syrian people do not want a future. their future to be one of blood shed and division. >> reporter: hundreds of united nations monitors are trying to salvage a cease fire between president assad's forces and opposition fighters. u.n. investigators say 108 people were killed in hula last friday. including 49 children. the u.n. report blames the syrian governmentover its agents. the killings prompted the u.s. and allies to expel syrian diplomats and renew calls for president assad to step down. >> the world would be better off with the assad family out of there. the question is what comes next? >> reporter: the white house says all options are on the table but it's trying to work through diplomatic channels to stop the violence.

just changing my shoes. sitting at the end of my bed. and i heard a loud crashing noise. and i ran outside and i saw the debris in my pool. i looked up and saw there was a propeller. just lying on the top of my roof. >> a pilot was forced to make an emergency landing in california yesterday when his small experimental plane lost its propeller. the aircraft landed in a field but the propeller landed on that man's roof.

incredibly no one was injured. by the way the pilot had just bought the plane. >> hopefully he got a warranty on that. >> luckily he didn't get injured. how are you? >> i'm well. nice outside. still have clouds out there. but you know had a nice soaking rain down in southern maryland the eastern shore. we've been dealing with the early sprinkles that have been going on for several hours now. we may see an isolated shower or storm as a cold front heads this way. it will bring us a nice stretch of weather later on today and tomorrow. here's the forecast. we have clouds out there now. we will see sunny breaks. temperatures will rise in the low 80s. might see 84-85 even here in town if we can get enough sunshine if the winds will turn eventually toward the south. this evening we will be dropping to the upper 70s. comfortable wise with you may have to dodge a couple showers.

here's the big picture here. showing the moisture streaming in from eastern north carolina, south eastern virginia and it has been effecting the northern neck. you can still see reedville seeing light to moderate showers. extending up into delaware. the lower eastern shore seeing it. down into st. mary's county and solomon you are still seeing the light showers. the rest of us we are dealing with mostly cloudy skies. a little sunnier out west. more clouds in cambridge. it's 72. 73 at the packs river station. shoepacking a big difference. even 81 in petersburg. and looking outside on our cameras a little cloudy in washington. good visibility. temperature 78 degrees. the air is drying out a little

bit. humidity at 54%. much drier air. that will be moving in later tonight and tomorrow. a lot of that dry air it's up over ohio and indiana this afternoon. we will see that tomorrow. by friday see this activity? we will see showers and storms back here later friday night. off the carolina coast that is beryl. and beryl is getting back close to wear. it will strengthen a little bit. but it's losing its tropical characteristics. it will likely become a storm but not a tropical storm. a post tropical storm. and the good news here beryl continues to move off toward the east. winds at 35. this will stat l the outer banks -- this will stat l the outer banks and go out to sea and not be too much of a problem. we are still seeing a little bit of that rain south eastern virginia moving up our way. as we look at the future cast you will notice the showers still effecting the eastern shores and out toward the beaches today. by 3:00 notice north and west a

and i asked him okay chef what is the largest size crab you will be serving and he said jumbo. so if you see me there every wednesday you will know why. this crab boil will begin add 5:30. you get three crabs for $21 and they also have corn on the cob and sausage and potatoes at art and soul on new jersey avenue at the liason hotel. we are doings a spare gus -- asparagus. okay you are frying an egg. >> what we have is the local asparagus radish salad. all comes from a collection of our local farms out of virginia. >> i like that. you really believe in being loyal to local farmers. >> big time. >> you are frying an egg. what does the egg have to do with it? >> asparagus and eggs my favorite combination this time of year. >> what are you putting on the
