lead in this second set. mary: novak djokovic had two big goals this year. he wanted to win the french open and he wanted to win olympic gold and he did neither. so you have to assume that he wanted to defend this title and win his second major of the year and that's still a great-looking season. he said it took a lot out of him that he walked away from the olympics without winning a medal of any color. lost twice there. lost for the bronze against del lost for the bronze against del potro.

bill: novak carried the flag for serbia in the opening ceremony. lost to andy in the semifinals snilings and was beaten by -- singles and was beaten by del potro in the bronze medal match. john: he got one back but is it too little too late at 4-0 down? has he given murray too much of a lead? it certainly looks that way. bill: 4-1. we'll return after this.

bill: back to deuce. we mentioned it, last year novak had one of the best years in tennis history. that winning streak that reached 34 matches before he finally lost at roland garros. came into the u.s. open last year with nine titles and a record of 63-2. this year, three titles, all on hard court and 60-10. john: shows you how good he played the previous year when 16-10 seems like a letdown. it's an incredible streak, to hold all four slams at the same time. that's been the toughest part to get over for him, the loss at the french this year.

john: he's either going break it wide open, murray, or somehow djokovic, if he were to pull this set out from 4-0 down, that would be where murray would have an awful difficult time not thinking that he just can't get a grand slam under his belt. so somehow if he could pull back and win this set, it would almost work out better for djokovic than if he'd gotten off to a good start. he took enough high-risk strategy, it's possible. now all of a sudden he's on the side with the wind. he's got one of the two breaks back. he's got 0-30. he's got a real shot to get back on serve here. bill: two errors from murray with that 0-30 lead for

bill: now it's andy fighting to stay level, stay calm. john: when he saw that djokovic was down mentally, he played properly, conservative tennis to get that double break. but now he's started to get more aggressive here. he can't let novak dictate he can't let novak dictate these points. john: murray just felt something in his leg like a cramp. unbelievable turnaround. how in the world is djokovic still in this set? at 4-0? look at murray grab the leg. that happens at least a couple of times a match so don't take too much importance in that one. more importantly that djokovic has battled back.
