6:16 pm
here is what we're thinking at the bus stops, probably not wet. mount carmel we believe and patchy fog here and there with temperatures between 64 and 67. so not too shabby. sometimes when it feels like a pool day it's hard to go back but i don't think that's the case tomorrow. radar tonight, very light sprinkles or spotty showers around the region. let me put this in motion. mot the last couple of hours, sprinkles coming through, portions of southern montgomery county, wear a hat but you won't get very wet. substantial rain is pushing towards southern maryland and you can see in the first few frames, that's not showing up in a big way.g the rain was produced by an area of low pressure riding along installedded front boundaries. a lot of it has pushed to the north and we're going to be in the dole drums in between. there's a second system coming.

one more piece of energy mayay come through late tonight oright during the day tomorrow but this is a slow pros cess because you can see it's moving north rather than east. so we'll keep a slight chance of a shower in the overnight and then we'll have to continue totu watch that system as it moves through the area tomorrow and i may in fact produce another shower or maybe believe it ort not a rumble of thunder for spotty areas tomorrow. temperature jumped to 74 degrees at 6:00. this is the warmest we've beenee all day but most other areas aren't quite up there. we're near 70 to 68 degrees and that is considerably below the average of 87 degrees that we would typically see in august. these are the dog days. it's not very doggy this year. that's for sure.ure. your forecast planner for the rest of the evening, the temperatured drop to 71, spotty sprinkles or showers. by 9:00, clouds, temperature of 70. we don't get a lot of breaks buzz we may have just enough e after, say, 1:11.

69 at our 11:00 temperature soz clearly temperatures aren'ts ar going to drop in a big hurry and we'll have clouds around as a well. for the rest of the overnight, 64 degrees, mostly clouds and a spotty shower here and there. for your monday, i do think we climb to 81 degrees with clouds and perhaps a shower or storm possible and as we look at the planner during the day tomorrow, we talked about the bus stop foo the kids, just to give you an idea we won't see a lot of sunshine but mable a few showers in the afternoon and can't event rule out a rumbleful thunders. rumble of thunder. we'll talk more about that.t get ready for it to get hot again, big time. >> thanks. coming up, people forced to evacuate a home as a raging wildfire continues to grow. find out why firefighters had aa hard time predicting where thise is headed next. >> when you bring your kids down to the beach, you see a dead
