winner, tennis player, whatever you do, regular competition and regular practice, and keep your toes sharp, when you're not competing in a regular -- you're never going to be as sharp. he's had injury problems unfortunately, and personal problems that have kept him out of the game for periods of time but a guy that is that good when he gets back into the rhythm and full fitness and health although things, get back to where they were quickly. >> what do you think the likelihood he's able to regain the dominance that we've all, as a public become so accustomed to him enjoying? >> yeah, nation a very good question. -- that's a very good question. i think it will be very difficult task to do, because the strength of play on the professional golf world is just extraordinary. there are so many great players

now, and the level competition is just so good now. i think that's going to be very very difficult to do. so i don't think anybody will totally dominate golf the way that some other players have at various stages of their career. there's's just so many great players out there now, and pga tour, the european tour is just so strong and full of talented players. >> all right, coming up, how the game of golf has helped wounded

that's a hard question. (laughing) we are the fay family from chesapeake, virginia. williamsburg is just beautiful. because we have thrill seekers and not such thrill seekers, i try to find something that everybody likes. this is a very good spot to do that. the most exhilarating part about this vacation was being with the whole family. it was amazing.

food, and two prosthetic vertebrae. >> i had about 18 surgeries. because he couldn't examiner, he gained weight, something he said killed three of his friends who were trying to recover with them. >> somebody told me i needed to do something. >> reporter: this was something, a friends of his introduced him to golf. >> i've never had a golf club in my hand. >> reporter: but he kept swinging and swinging, and swinging. >> it gave me a sense of accomplishment, so i started to slowly come out of the dark depression. i had something in my hand i could do without anybody's help. once you get one good shop, it keeps you trying to repeat that. >> the game helped him recover from war. those aren't my words, they're his. he was featured in the may 2012 edition of golf digest. now he is mentoring other wounded warriors. out here, piment at the is not

other service members, and really give me some of the focus on the side, being in the hospital and doing rehab. >> i hear you got some games? is that true? >> occasionally. >> and your extremely is to one day run a country club, or golf course? >> that's right. i want to run a country club or golf course open for other wounded warriors. >> we have shots of what happened today, you ransom clinics. tell me about the organization and what you do. >> it was started nine years, cofounded with pga local pro. idea is to use golf as a vehicle for post 9/11 wounded warriors. a form of rehabilitation reintegration back into society. we started here locally and we've expanded and now have eight locations and golfer program that's nationwide. >> the masters is going on right

right there in our area montgomery county, there's a new hybrid of the support that is been developed, it's called foot golf. it's soccer, and golf combined together. you play soccer on the golf course! so i wanted to check it out and see what the excitement was about. here's sneak peek of the new game. what kicked it over the edge for us what we started to get calls this spring from soccer teams. and soccer coaches asking us what is foot golf, and why isn't it in montgomery county? so we have 18 hole golf course that is unaffected by the introduction of this sport, and we had an extra nine holes called the inside nine here at the northwest golf course, so it introduces the scoring of golf which is to try to hit the ball in the hole with the least amount of strokes, and it's mixing soccer instead of having

expensive equipment, and golf it's easy to do. anybody can play it, because all you have to do is kick a ball. we are bringing new people who would not normally come out to a course on to the course to introduce foot golf, introduce 15-inch cups, to introduce sling golf. these alternatives are great. but we're getting people who doesn't come to golf courses to see how beautiful they are, see how much fun and how it's great to enjoy this sport. >> foot golf is still growing in popularity, so many other hybrids of the sport coming out. there's lacrosse, end golf, they are popping up all over the area. it's so much fun. that's going to do it for me here at augusta for your 2015 masters. we will have complete full coverage tomorrow night on "game on" over time, and see who grabs that coveted green jacket.

capitol as tour were there for the cherry blossom festival. >> it happened near the fountain. team coverage begins now. >> reporter: that man was on the west terrace of the capitol about 1:00 p.m., he was carrying a protest sign of some sort. he also had a backpack, and a rolling suitcase, this happening as the mall was crowded with tour -- tourists on this particular sunny day. >> i didn't think it was gunshots. it doesn't register until you see the police come in. >> the capitol police she have said responded right away, but police did not fire a shot. >> because of the packages that were nearby him, we obviously locked down the capitol for security purposes. and had to secure of area. our bomb techs handled that as a suspicious package. we subsequently cleared the

area, and reopened united states capitol. >> reporter: the man appeared to be here on his own. >> based on the facts i just provided to you, there seems to be no connection to terrorism. >> reporter: police won't say what kind of gun was used. >> it's something you think about at the high-risked places that something like this will happen, but i just wasn't really scared, i didn't know it was gunshots in the first place. >> reporter: the police do know who the man is, they have not yet identified him. we can also tell you this -- there frontally weren't -- probably weren't any congressmen in the building. our team coverage continues now with stephanie ramirez. >> caught up with the tourists near the capitol when the shooting happened. and she spoke to a man who tells us the shooting happened right behind him. >> it didn't sound like gunshots, but a balloon pop, and

i started to see the girl and the mother that was standing there, both started crying and holding face. >> reporter: he didn't realize the suspected gunman's suitcase you can see in this photo, was still on scene. >> off duty police officer, and had his badge up, and said everybody calm down, and set god of here -- get out of here. >> this was beach the west front fountain, and he says the capitol building and surrounding area went into lock-down on this busy saturday. >> we were just inside the library of congress when like the alarms started to go off, and they slammed the doors shut. >> we were on the back side of the cap total -- capitol, so people were like minding their business, nobody seems to be like scared. >> reporter: this was the first nice spring day we've had in a while in the district with hundreds if not thousands of people in town for different events, including the cherry

blossom parade. after tourists began to take photos of the scene, but bishop described a very traumatizing experience. >> one girl asked me something, she saw him shoot himself. and she immediately just started crying and her mother started crying, and they started -- there were 50 people, 60 people easily up there, and everybody just kind of started scrambling. >> reporter: he tells us he didn't see it but heard another witness tell the police the suspect held up a sign saying tax the 1%, and took his own life. >> i tell my kids, we don't live in fear. it can happen anywhere, and any time, and we can't let is change who we are and how we operate. police have not released the name of the man who committed suicide. a high school student dies returning from a rotc trip. okon ntekin became ill as the but carrying him and several of his classmates made its way into

southern maryland. the bus driver pulled over at a gas station, paramedics were there to help. the teen was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. the body was taken to the medical examiner's office to determine that cause of death, and prince george county school officials say counselors will be on hands to help with the death of their classmate. people packed the somerville south carolina church to attend the funeral for walter scott, he was fatally shot in the back by a white police officer a week ago. that officer, michael slager, is in jail, charged with scott's murder. police officers escort scott's casket to the church, also in attendance, two members of south carolina avenue congressional delegation, one the republican the other a democrat. they said scott's death should be a catalyst for change. and we have your weather when we come back.

>> winds are starting to die down, and that's a good thing, we had the strong gusts near 30. light tonight, and while we're in the 250's here, low 60s in town, overnight with a light wind, the dry air, the clear skies, we're going to have frost possible north and west weather service has issued frost advisories when things are starting to grow. from prince william into southern park culpeper, those areas, patchy frost will be possible with lows in the 30s and 40s. our day planner for sunday we'll warm up nicely, and the winds will be light, 65 by 1:00 after the chilly start. notice the 68 at 4:00, high right around 70 with winds from the south at 5, 10, it is going

to be beautiful! across the country, tracking all this activity off to the southwest. we're watching one tornado warning in amarillo. and this moisture gets here by tuesday. and the short term, it looks like parts of texas and the gulf coast are going to get soaked over the next couple of days. between now and monday, some areas could have more than five six inches of rain. for us, high pressure in control. looking great, and that's the case tomorrow. the breezy conditions, quickly going to leave. winds die down, clear, chilly and in some cases frosty start. by sunday, very pleasant, highs pushing that 70-degree mark. with comfortable winds, 5 to 10. a few more clouds later on monday, look for highs in the mid-70s, so warm and breezy monday night, tuesday morning, we are watching the activity. tuesday, may end up being a yellow alert day.
