we're certainly excited about this. folks having getting involved on twitter. this we got this pic with the hashtag snow day nine -- #snowday9. she is amazed. i think her look that is getting sums it up. the feelings of folks are having about the snow. 27 inches and counting. #snow day nine -- #snowday9. the snowfall is significant. cars covered and so is a house. halfway through inches on the port in annapolis from jail. you can see that is a little puppy. maybe a dotson. you can see how significant the
8:17 am
snowfall is. this one from dave, 20 inches in gaithersburg and piling up #snow began 2016 in full force. you can see it looks like the porch covered as well as the backyard. john in bunker hill west virginia the cars are there pretty could barely make out the houses -- there's a lot of snow all over. reviewing area and well as parts of western she gave me the advice we all have for everyone to stay safe out there. you can see how significant the snowfall is in her neck of the woods as well. this one from alesia, she says 15 inches and growing. have the icstk out there. to measure how much snow is out there. this is the snowfall that we've been seeing all day even parts of yesterday as well.

8:20 am
for a way -- 14. that puts it at four 4 inches away from cracking the top 10 and we know as we have been saying we have well over a couple of hours to go through. putting this in the top five is going to be pretty easy. especially out at dulles. it will keep coming down 1 to 2 in./h. the heavy stuff on and until three. out at dulles that total will continue to climb. let's look at the totals that we are looking at for history in the making. the white-collar will be totaled out at reagan national and the yellow numbers to the right are the numbers out at dulles. we have cracked the top eight
8:21 am
for dulles as at 15.2 and number five for reagan was only 16.6. we are sitting pretty at 14. i think we are talking top five. florida topped top three. we talked earlier the wake of a major storm, i about tuesday into wednesday we went with historic. we are talking about history here. that is a sign of how much snow. the white house is reporting well over a foot of snow, almost everybody. if you have less than a foot of snow let us know because i don't think there are many. this at allison ray. 26 degrees out there. it's very cold. the blowing snow continues. up to 32 mile-per-hour gusts.

welcome back to our coverage of the blizzard of 2016. send us your pix on hashtag snow day 9 and we want to show them online. >> if you don't have to be out show them for the comfort of your home or your backyard. do not go out andrew mccarren is in blizzard conditions and she was saying it's disorienting because you don't know where the sidewalk begins and the street begins and it's not good thing andrea. >> reporter: yeah.
8:36 am
andrea it's very dangerous out here now. not only have we accumulated over 22 inches it's really the wind gusts. that is creating the blizzard conditions. i don't know if you can see behind me. you can't tell like you mentioned, where the sidewalk ends and where the street begins. these are drifts i am getting up to well probably deeper than i should be climbing. in the last hour or so, i only seen three vehicles attempt to pass the road. a snowplow a vdot car and a national highway transportation administration vehicle and they were go slowly and they were slipping along. we have a bit of a dilemma on our hands. i am going show you and then i am going bring in my colleague photo journalist james hash and
8:37 am
that is we have a couple dilemmas work. james come on out and let's tow tell everybody the road we took to get here the road we created to get here is now impassable. so we are pretty much stuck here. the gas station is closed. we are about to make it an effort to hike about a half mile to a cracker barrel restaurant which last night promised it would stay opened. they were incredibly gracious to vdot workers and us and they shut down. so now we are kind of stuck out here. james come on in. and tell me what it is you are seeing behind our suv. >> so, the vehicle is a pretty capable vehicle but the problem is ear rinning into high centering. we are basically as heavy as the vehicle is, and this applies to anybody with a four
8:38 am
wheel drive regardless of how capable your vehicle is, if the tires can't get to the pavement, you have no traction and what's happening is the snow is now it's now so dope that -- deep that. >> reporter: i am watching you. >> that the vehicle is basically floating now on a snow like a boat. >> reporter: you can see we are basically-- oh sorry about that. we are standing on about a foot of compressed snow and so, i am going to go behind camera and you -- dish want to see what they can see and you keep describing this james. >> so what's happening is that the vehicle tires can't get all the way down to the pavement. the pavement is somewhere way under here actually and we are not on the pavement so the tires are not making any traction. so even though we have all fourwheels spinning, we are not going anywhere because we are
8:39 am
not actually on the pavement. so, the shovel we brought in yesterday basically what we are faced with is digging out a little bit at a time. >> reporter: let me pan off and show the one coming down. >> right on. that's a private plow. they are contractors. >> reporter: you know, that's the first plow i've been able to even spot out here in the last oh half-hour or so. they have a real dilemma -- dilemma as well. i spoke with couple. a couple drivers. they say it's absolutely pointless. they cannot keep up. they were telling us last night that they couldn't keep up with the extreme volume of snow. earlier i shot iphone video and there was plow stuck trying to plow its own way out on sudly road behind me also if you look
8:40 am
up at the flag, snapping in the winds. >> the wind shifted. >> reporter: it shifted directions. and we are going to try to figure out how we get out of here and in the meantime, we are going send it back to to you. very, very dangerous conditions. i have been covering storms for about 30 years and i have not seen anything quite like this. i can see i-66 from where i am standing two or three cars that's it. >> andrea mccarren. >> reporter: did u you have a question. >> no we have to let you go to try to get the tires unstuck. >> reporter: are you seeing the wind shift. >> i am so definitely go and find a place to shelter and hide behind so you won't get blown away but they have a dilemma the wheels-- they are rotating but not touching the ground. >> she is in manassas and we have seen some of that in dc
8:41 am
and bethesda where makia is and locks like she has someone to talk to. >> reporter: whoa caught up with the lovely couple here taking a walk through the neighborhood and they are enjoying this bit of a winter wonderland here. so tell me how do you feel about the conditions here? now we have a runner. how do you feel about this. >> beautiful day in the neighborhood. >> reporter: oh. >> it's like northern minnesota where we are from. >> reporter: that's right. we saw you all walking randomly in the street where are you heading. >> nowhere. just to look around. have a good time. >> out for a walk in the day. it's a beautiful day in the neighborhood like i said. it's wonderful. >> reporter: now earlier the sidewalks weren't in the best shape and they aren't in lot of places so, how have you all been able to-- how have you managed to get around? >> just walk put on your boots and walked. >> reporter: joy slipped or ing. >> i no you walk -- have you slipped or anything. >> no you walk around and we
8:42 am
hold onto each other. >> reporter: good idea. >> together we will fall. >> reporter: something interesting before we let you go you said you were look for a wedding ring. right over here last night and tell us what is that all about. >> a ride -- lady and her husband were playing in the snow and lifted her hand in the air and the ring came off landed in the snow and it was a platinum and diamond ring and i hope she left a note in the restaurant because maybe someone will try it and i told her to pray to st. anthony for lot of and -- lost and found. >> reporter: you hear the situation inform you came across a wedding ring at tasty diner it belongs to someone here. thanks very much for your time. and now as far as the conditions here guys, i mean you can see we have been out here all morning. we saw a couple of snowplow trucks come through within the last half-hour to an hour so you can see where you can the black top is visible now.
8:43 am
something that was not the case before. we have another walker and what are you doing out here? >> i am here for breakfast at the diner. >> reporter: you are hungry. >> yes. absolutely. >> reporter: now tell me i will walk with you you are trying to get inside and get worm. warm. >> in -- to the curb i am trying to find a place that isn't too deep. >> reporter: i say what do you think about the conditions. >> well, it's pretty serious. >>reporter: this is not a easy walk. >> people who love snow it's great if you have nothing to do and no place to go. otherwise it's pain. >> reporter: how far did you walk. >> just three blocks. >> reporter: in this? >> yes. it was not the walking up it was getting out onto the street because most of the snow banks are as long as my legs are so trying to get in over that
8:44 am
that's why i am sort of look at that spot. >> reporter: trying to get back around. let's try to figure this out together because i got to get back myself. the snowplow trucks came by and not too long ago creating these huge snow piles. >> make it on a hill. >> reporter: you got it? all right. i am a little taller hopefully. don't fall okay. get you through here. i created that path right here. >> if you fall on this you are not likely going to get hurt. >> reporter: not likely? i wouldn't take the chances though. here you go. what did you say. >> dina has-- this diner has been here this is the 8 0th year. and. >> reporter: you are a popular -- it's a popular place 24 hours i know you are happy. >> 24 hours a day get breakfast
8:45 am
any time. >> reporter: you get inside and get warm. >> thank you. >> reporter: and as you can see, this morning i've done hits inside the tasty diner. what did you say ma'am? >> no mercy on you guys. you are out here even with this. >> reporter: we are fine we are braving the storm. you take care. and ace mentioned you have -- ace mentioned you've seen -- as i mentioned you've sented conditions out here this -- you've seen the conditions out here bad worse and obviously, a little better enough for some people to make their way to the 24 hour diner here. and something a lot people are happy it's still open because a lot of places around here are not. this place was a complete ghosttown earlier this morning. when we got stuck, we are going take another look at our vehicle here. you can see the snow is a lot higher than it was earlier. so, we are going to. >> he had shovels to get out. you can see the foot traffic slowly picking up. we are catching more walkers
8:46 am

all of them are open. and this has been the only place open all morning long. they're always open 24 hours a week. and they were accommodating a lot of hungry people in the area. you can see, we have another vehicle here this. person is with the county. and they're doing just fine. but no matter what vehicle you drive, still it's just best to stay home stay inside. if you do walk wherever you go, do be cautious. a couple of times, i almost fell off of a curve. because you can't really see it. it's hard to tell exactly when the street meets the sidewalk itself. so just be extra, extra cautious. and again, we'll just be keeping an eye on conditions out here in bethesda. again, not many improvements here. but that's to be expected. the snow is supposed to continue falling just for a few more hours. again, take heed. stay warm and stay safe. we'll head over, toss it on over to surae chinn.
9:34 am
>> reporter: we are out. we are out. good samaritans all around. i can't say thanks enough. station 33 firefighters dug us out. but listen. we're not the only ones. i want to turn the camera around. look at this. so we've got a snow plow, truck, stuck in the snow. he's been working overnight. and we've got another driver to pull them out. this is route 7, going eastbound. pretty much a ghosttown all the way around here. but yeah, we actually, before this stuck truck, we ran into a family and the guy said, i wish i didn't leave the house. that is truly the message here today. he had his wife, his kids. and he was stuck. and good samaritans there. montgomery county fire, all the way here off duty, dug him out, pulled him out. and he's like, i shouldn't have
9:35 am
left. and good idea. for anyone trying to even think about venturing out. but we're seeing the process here of good samaritans helping people who are stuck and trying to do their jobs. these are the folks who say please stay off the roads and let us plow and looking down here off of route 7. this is a neighborhood. look how much snow. look at all of this. i just want to show you. and he's really stuck here. and we know exactly how that feels. two hours later, we are -- do you see our drive truck back there? all the way on route 7. there's deon, waiting for me. but i just wanted to jump out and show this process. taking a long time. this guy, he is at his wit's end. so i'm not going to bug him. >> how are you guys doing? >> i got a thumbs up there. and they still try -- still trying to dig out.
9:36 am
these are guys who have spent the night trying to dig other folks out. that is the latest here. >> all right. that's surae chinn, reporting from sterling, virginia, where they're still having problems, getting those trucks out. you know, with the full moon this weekend, high tides will be running higher than usual. this is drone footage from before the storm hit friday. crews have been working, shoring up a mile-long sand dune, which had been built after superstorm sandy, there in new jersey. and check this out. isn't this gorgeous? >> gorgeous. >> this is the blizzard of 2016 from space. astronaut scott kelly tweeted this picture from the international space station. and you can see the city lights under layers of snow-filled clouds. it is just out of this world amazing. >> absolutely beautiful. now, you can see it from there. it's pretty. down here on earth, there's a lot of work to do. turning to the phones, we have virginia governor terry mcauliffe. >> he was very concerned
9:37 am
yesterday about what this storm would mean to virginians. governor, how are they fairing this morning? >> well, listen. thanks, mike, andrea. great to be with you. we've got a lot of equipment. 13,000 pieces of equipment. 2500 state employees. and 7,000 contract employees right now, throughout the commonwealth. we've deployed. put down almost 69,000 tons of salt. we're on top of the situation. we've had significant snow obviously. city of fairfax, 16 1/2 inches. loudoun, 15. you look at winchester, 16. and more snow coming today. we've got our crews out there. working hard. i just really implore folks to stay off the road. i believe midnight tonight, the snow will have exited the commonwealth. and let our crews do what they need to do to get these roads open and passable. and i appreciate everybody really staying off the roads. but it's a lot of snow. we're out there. we've had three fatalities.
9:38 am
we have right now, power outages, about -- 12,836 folks without power. we've got a whole team in place, to make sure we have folks getting back, powering through as soon as they can. and if we get the roads clear, utility trucks can do the job they can do. a couple of contractors and an individual in a car accident. one trooper was injured. but he has been released from the hospital. our airports, most of the airports are open. limited service. and the ports are still open. so we're doing everything we can. but we feel confident, you know, i was the first state to declare a state of emergency. we went out early. repositioned our heavy equipment out of the hampton roads region. where they have high wind and rain. and upped it to northern virginia, where most of the snow is going to continue to come. >> in northern virginia, the number of outages does not seem to be what it could be.
9:39 am
where are most of the outages you're hearing in the commonwealth? are they closer to the shoreline? >> no. this started in southwest virginia, moved up to roanoke. really, the i-81 corridor has taken a pounding from the snow. obviously, i-81, 70,000 cars and trucks. so we've got the crews there to keep that major artery open and moveable, which it is today. so you've seen a lot of the power outages in southwest virginia. and then the western part of the state. but i just got off the emergency center right now. we just got a briefing. we're very concerned about the hampton roads region. we have flooding going on today. chick teague has flooding going on today. and when the high tide comes later, we're concerned about that. so we've really got a lost issues throughout the commonwealth that we're dealing with. our goal is to keep all 8.4 million safe. stay home. we'll get your power back as soon as possible. but as they say, 13,000 pieces of equipment on the road.
9:40 am
snow will end late at midnight tonight. we've got all day sunday, we're going to have to get all of our primary roads through monday. we hope later monday to be able to take a first run into our secondary roads. but we need folks to work with us. it's a record snowfall in a lot of areas. >> governor a lot of equipment on the road. but do you think there is a need to call in additional help? any thought on calling in the national guard to at least help people get to where they need to go if they're emergency responders? >> it's a good question. and thursday, when i did the executive order and did the staitz of emergency, we called up 500 national guardsmen and women. and then yesterday, was requested 200 more. i signed that order yesterday. so we have a total of 700 national guards folks throughout the commonwealth, where they really help us, andrea, as you know, is in the rural areas, where there is a medical emergency, an elderly individual. can't get their medicine, can't get to the hospital. and national guard folks and
9:41 am
hum advice have really been instrumental and helping as we speak. we have 23 active missions going on right now, with our guards folks. somewhere in the commonwealth. so yeah, we've called up the guard. and as i say, 700, have now been authorized to help us. so we've got guards everywhere. and they are really working hand in hand with virginia state police to deal with all of the instances that we have. and deal with all the accidents. and you know, the thousands of calls we're now getting to deal with some kind of incident that is going on somewhere in the comorn wealth of virginia. >> virginia governor terry mcauliffe, we appreciate your time. we know it's a big job and a big state. >> it's a big state, but we're doing everything we can to keep everybody safe. and we'll continue to do it. just please stay off the roads. give us the time to get these roads cleared. and later next week, it will be in the 40s in many parts of the commonwealth. but really, let us do our work right now. then we can really make it and get things moving back to normal. >> all right, governor.
9:42 am
thank you very much for being with us, governor. playing a little meteorologist there with the future forecast. we appreciate that. allison, a little help from the governor. >> absolutely. it's going to snow for a little while longer. so yes. we are going to see the snow continue. we have been showing you the high levels of accumulation we're seeing. and they are just going to continue. i'll have the future cast and the live doppler coming up in just a bit. but if you ever want to see the doppler, and you're like, enough with the pictures, allison, i want to see the doppler, you can find it on our weather app. and it's really coming down in frederick right now. this is the picture. and we have been asking for before and after pictures. this gave us time stamps. i love this. 6:30 p.m. friday. and i know it's hard to see. but i squinted my eyes and saw it. just shy of 3 inches there on friday. and here we go, he woke up 6:30, 12 hours later, just shy
9:43 am
of 13 inches. so 10 inches within 12 hours. and i'm sure most of that came after the midnight hour. and this is a picture, thank you to melissa in leesburg. i found this one somewhat amusing. because the snow was just as high as the chair is. and if the snow was heavier and not as fluffy, you'd be able to sit on the snow. of course, that fluffy snow continues. the totals continue to climb. we're seeing a lot of reports, especially in west virginia of over 20 inches. and highest point we've seen so far is about 24 to 25. it's really hard to get these snowfall totals exact because of the blowing snow, of course. and it kind of causes those drifts. some people are being a little bit more cautious of what their snowfall totals are. i think it's about 18. i've seen some drifts up to 25. but more in the order of 18. here's the look we have been looking at. and this is the best camera view i've seen. because a lot of the other ones, you just can't see at all. but it is really hard to see
9:44 am
out there. and that is going to be the case for the rest of the day. very breezy. not very comfortable. if you're trying toich to go out, you don't want to go out. it's dangerous. it's not good. it the roads are bad. it's slippery. even the sidewalks are slippery. the sidewalks will stay slippery, until about monday afternoon. we'll get enough sunshine. and temperatures will be warm enough. that's when it will finally get the shovels down through the pavement. and get them cleared out a little bit. if you're having trouble, again, we have callers calling in and saying, i need to get somewhere, it's an absolute emergency. and your car is stuck, cat litter seems to do the job. as far as giving your tires some extra traction. so keep that in mind. 26 degrees. the dew point is at 23. still very cold. we're not seeing that heavy, wet snow. we're seeing the light, fluffy stuff. it's just too much to handle. we can't keep up with it. and we are making our way into the history books as far as top 5 storms. we're going to be there within just a couple of hours as the
9:45 am
snowfall totals continue to add up. and the snow is not stopping. what to expect today. we're in the midst of it. we're still in the peak time here. peak time, late last night. through midafternoon. and that is no different. we're seeing it right now. we had thunder snow reports early this morning. we haven't heard any thunder as of late. but that doesn't mean the winds aren't subsiding at all, or the storms de-intensifying at any point. we're still seeing the very strong gusts out to the east. expect the snowfall totals to continue. and we'll taper off, once the st sun sets. tonight, it will be a lot easier to dig our way out tomorrow. we'll continue to track the live radar. and i'll have an update with the future cast as well. coming up in a bit. guys over to you. >> all right, allison, thanks so much. talk about road conditions. crews have been around the clock to stay on top of road snow in washington, d.c. more than 35,000 tons of salt could be dumped on the city. by the time it is all said and
9:46 am
done -- and of course, right now, we're still in the thick of things. we're also keeping an eye on metro. and you might remember that metro is closed for the weekend. and if you're trying to think about using that as an alternate, you certainly won't be getting very far with that. one of our nightside crews was there, as metro workers pulled down the entrance gates to stations, and put up signs reading service alerts, metro is closed due to blizzard conditions. metro train will not operate today, as well as tomorrow. metro's website, todays that it could have a decision about service that could be made sometime on thursday. we'll let you know what we learn from that. right now, we're keeping a close eye on how things are shaping up around town. you are looking right now at the belt way there. if anything, you're seeing disabled vehicles all over the place. parts of maryland, parts of virginia and even inside the district. let's show you how things are shaping up from our camera there. looks like we don't have a picture there. you can see kind of slipping
9:47 am
through these on i-66, as well as 95. we have significant snow, not only on the roads. but we also have it on the sidewalks there as well. underneath all of the inches of snow is a layer of ice. serving to prove difficult. four commuters there. folks that are being forced to head out the door. our andrea mccarren sent us images earlier, showing us snow plows that were also stuck in the snow as well. you can see, very few cars on the road. for the ones that we have been seeing, they have been driving well below the speed limit. and it's definitely necessary, all things considered right now. also at issue is visibility. if it's from some of these cameras, you'll be able to see it here. at the beltway, visibility, ult as you try to head out of the house. the most important thing we can tell you again is you need to drop the speed. you need to take it easy out there. and certainly remember, if you can stay home, you should. that way, those snow plows can get those roads cleaned up.
9:48 am
because it's certainly something they are trying to do. and with cars on the road, it makes it difficult for them to do their job. well, right now, it's not time yet. but soon, eventually, we could come underneath the blizzard. 2016. but of course, it could be a bit difficult to start your car when it heads back to work. triple a recommends you clear off snow and ice, completely from your car. switch the headlights to low beam. so the dryers behind you can see your taillights. and of course, you want to see and be seen. and never use your cruise control, to drive on snowy, slippery and wet streets. most of all, remain calm and use common sense to drive around to your destination safely. go advice there. we'll send it to you. >> thank you. we have team coverage of the blizzard of 2016. >> stephanie ra ramirez has been driving acrosstown. she's near capitol hill, where she's with people who are seeing sledding and snowing -- seeing snow for the first time.
9:49 am
stephanie? >> reporter: we are having a good time moving from capitol hill. 12th and h street northwest to be exact. and i'm seek speaking with a lovely couple. steve and natalie, who tell me this was their first trip. >> yes. this was my birthday present for my husband. first time we have been away for 15 years. >> so are you going to do that again? >> exactly. >> something next time. >> tell me what you guys have been doing all day today. >> we have breakfast. and now we've just walked down from washington past the white house. just trying to go over to lincoln memorial. we're going to do the washington memorial. then we're hoping to watch the snowball fight at midday at dupont circle. >> it's going to be fun time?
9:50 am
>> oh, yeah. >> have you seen snow before like this? >> oh, nothing like this. no, never. >> in england, an inch of snow kind of sets the country to a halt. i said to my wife, we've seen more snow plows coming from the airport to washington, d.c., than we've seen in the whole of england. >> what do you think of the snow here? >> it's amazing. absolutely amazing. i can't believe how desolate the city is. it's just amazing how there's absolutely nobody here. except you guys. >> and we found them. of course, we asked them to talk with us. these folks have been nice enough to wait with us in the cold. it is kind of cold out here. >> it is cold. yeah. very cold. >> what would you say to the folks that are coming out here? we know d-dot did put identity a tweet, asking folks. people are coming out. >> with mad english, come out and walk around. plenty of warm clouds. and don't drive would be my advice. for all it's worth. very treacherous. >> what's amazing is some of

the roads you can go down. and other roads, you just come up. much better than being in your vehicle. >> and topper, they would like to know if they would be able to fly out on monday. they're kind of stuck here for the weekend jt. >> we hope so, otherwise being we're going to have to ask our parents-in-law to watch the kids for a couple more days. and we've already received a message, saying, please take them off our hands. >> and now you can tell them you're live on channel 9. >> that's right. we go away for the weekend and then we're on tv. >> you are not going to go away again? >> no, we will. >> what do you think of the city? >> beautiful. >> i came to washington in november, just on a business trip. quick tour around the city. ask it was so thrilling, i thought i would bring natalie to come look as well. >> what an experience, huh? >> he arranged for a surprise limo to collect us. but by the time we got here
9:52 am
with all the delays, the limo had gone without us. >> oh, i'm sorry. >> well, these things happen. but we're here. >> looks like you're enjoying each other's company. thank you so much talking with us. safe travel, guys. we're going to keep roaming around here and see who else we can find that would be willing to talk with us. wusa 9 in northwest d.c. >> wish him a happy birthday from all of us as well. >> very sweet. are they not sweet? >> super, super sweet. >> okay. i believe in that wind -- >> that's surae chinn, holding her ear. can you hear us, sur -- surae? >> and goggles. in some cases, it can be underneath your back deck. if it's closer to the ground, and you're trying to do clothes, and you're stuck inside all day, and snow is blocking that vent, it can be very dangerous also if you have a heat pump outside. heat, sitting outside, covered with snow. not going to operate properly. >> all right. good advice. >> this is a live look at the white house. it's covered with white snow. where the obamas are hunkered down for this historic storm. nothing on the president's schedule today. so he can sit back and enjoy the warm air just like you are and watch us on wusa 9. >> and mr. president, if you take those dogs outside to play -- >> ask and you shall receive. there is the first dog bo, taking a walk. and hear the dog barking. >> not really crazy about the cameras in his face. >> your pet is enjoying the

but remember, it's not moving past our parallel. we talked about that ad nauseam yesterday. and i'll talk about it again today. we drew a line, due east into the ocean. when it gets past that imaginary line winds turn northwesterly. it's not past our parallel yet. still deep deepening. we're still lookheavy snow, pushing northwest ward, into places like cumberland and west virginia. but these bands are going to swing back around before all is said and done. we're going to have either steady or heavy snow, until -- probably until about 3:00 p.m. and probably have steady or light snow until about 6:00, 7:00 tonight. but these are the bands we've showed you, past an hour or so. big time. running from frederick through hagerstown to west virginia. north of berkeley springs. and a band heading out toward hill. even if you don't see -- if you're not in blue. but this is the heavy stuff. frederick to myersville to
