specters fell yesterday. the dow drop 123 points, the s&p lost 15 points, the nasdaq fell 32. the cyber breach at the internal revenue service is worse than previously reported. they initially said about 100,000 accounts had been hacked. now they say they got access to more than 700,000. potentially stolen data includes social security, birth dates and other information that could be used to impersonate a real taxpayer. nasa says it's working on a new quieter super jet. they awarded a $20 million contract to look media martin for the preliminary design. instead of the loud super sonic boom, the new jet would make a soft thump. the contract ended in 2003 when the concord may its last play. and anne-marie, you may have

maryland police continue to investigate a tractor trailer accident that has highway 80 at park mills road closed. this is a fatal tractor trailer accident. so, we are working to get more information on that. a live look and showing you 295 southbound to the 11th street bridge, all lanes of traffic are open on the northbound and southbound sign. weather and traffic return shortly. over to you. >> thank you, larry. breaking news out of california. a man is on the run after police say he kidnapped his ex- girlfriend and two young children then lead police on an hours long chase through multiple cities. >> this unfolded yesterday evening. the man was caught on camera carrying a child in his arms refusing to surrender. he ran way on foot two hours ago. police are looking for him. the woman and children are safe. we may hear a guilty plea from jesse matthews when he appears in court tomorrow. a prosecutor says matthew, charged with killing two college students

enter guilty pleas in both cases. matthew is charged with murdering hannah graham and morgan harrington. he is already serving life in prison for sexual i assaulting a fairfield county woman in 2005. a new push to install a traffic light at the site of this weekend's deadly crash in bethesda. the maryland state lay administration says it will conduct a new traffic study to determine if a traffic signal is warranted. two previous studies determined it did not need a stoplight. a mother, father and son were killed. their daughter remains badly injured. we will get a chance to witness space history today. nasa astronaut scott kelly will land back on earth after spending a year on the international space station. he will land at 11:27 p.m. in kazakhstan. yesterday he handed over the command of the station to tim copra
