the rain is here, and it's going to stick with us for e right through northwest d. c. we're dealing with light showers. it will be heavy at times, but the general trend is light to moderate. this is 7:30 in the morning. your morning commute is not looking good anywhere you go, along 95, along 66. areas in southern maryland, the showers stick around for a while. this is 11:00. we're drying out along 81, drying out along 66. not so much for areas south of d. c. it will start to let up this afternoon. mainly a morning event. temperatures still have a chance to reach into the mid to upper 70s. this is all ahead of a cold front. so we're staying into the 60s for much of the day, and then once that rain starts to taper off, we will head to the mid- 70s. then tomorrow noticeably cooler behind the front. we have more chances for rain, though, as we head through tomorrow and wednesday. we'll map it out for you. as far as fog or visibility, it's not dropping too low just

yet. dulles your visibility is at 3 lower visibility if you travel along 81 south of harrisburg. >> i don't see alerts on my maps a lot for fog but i am having one this morning on the beltway between gw parkway, clara barton parkway. watch out in that area. we looked to that traffic lane camera before. you can get by, not heavy traffic yet. it's just going to be kind of that ugly commute. we'll let you know if more fog sets into the area. 395 northbound we did have an accident. it has cleared by duke street and little river turnpike. we have some delays as you come toward 395 as you're heading west. on the beltway, branch avenue, reports of construction there. that's pretty standard. i also saw an additional alert in that area. once i zoomed in here, i'm not seeing actually very slow traffic on the beltway or branch avenue. maybe watch out as you pass through that area.
