later. >> i'm curious. >> i'm sick and tired of you guys. good morning from the studio 57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters here in new york. good to be with you. i'm anne-marie green. the dragnet for potential acome palace of auburn hillss linked to the deadly bombing is growing. eight men possibly connected to the attack including a brother of suspected brother salman abedi are in custody. s he father and other brother are arrest in libya and 22 victims of the attack will be remembered with a moment of silence today. teri okita is in manchester this morning. good morning. >> reporter: hi. increased security has bumped up this morning. we're seeing at least seven or eight police officers

area alone, some of them armed. we're going to see more of that increased security in crowded places like this because they have upped the terror level to critical in the uk. manchester's chief constable has told us he'd made the point this is a network. it's not just salman abedi acting alone. we're also hearing he was not only radicalized in syria and libya but right here in manchester. authorities in the uk have made two more arrests this morning trying to track down accomplices of manchester arena bomber salman abedi. at least six others were picked up in northern and central england wednesday including abedi's brother. another brother of abedi and abee de's father who both live in libya have also been detained. >> reporter: british

shopping mall last friday possibly buying the backpack he used to detonate the bomb this week. it revealed a sophisticated device that used screws, and a detonator. police remain focused on finding the bomb maker who they say may still be at large. amid ongoing investigation people here in manchester and throughout the uk are refusing to let the attack keep them from going on with their daily lives. football fans who faced tight security erupted in cheers yesterday as manchester united defeated ajax amsterdam in the final soccer game. pop star aryan na grande was scheduled to perform today and tomorrow. d

please be together. well, meantime the investigation continues, the united kingdom has reportedly stopped sharing information with u.s. about the manchester attack. the british government is livid and astonished over the leaks of information and pictures concerning the attack according to the bbc. today in brussels prime minister theresa may is expected to talk to president trump about those leaks, and the two will meet when the two meet their first nato meeting. they're anxious to hear what the president has to say about the 28 state alliance. just hours before today's special election in montana, the republican candidate for the state's only congressional seat was charged with misdemeanor assault. witnesses including a fox news crew

voters here haven't elected a democrat to fill it in more than two decades. donald trump won by 20 points. if the democrats when, it could change the political narrative. the question gianforte didn't want to answer was about the congressional budget office's an aalysis of the heal care bill recently passed by the republican controlled house. it would leave 23 million more americans without insurance, older people with lower incomes would disproportionately lose coverage. the report also says in some regions people with pre-existing conditions would ultimately be unable to purchase insurance. the white house says the cbo is wrong. cbs news has confirmed the existence of a secret document that reportedly played a central role in the handling of the hillary clinton investigation by fbi director

they consider it possibly unreliable and possibly fake. >> reporter: sources say the fbi obtained the game-changing document in the spring of 2016. it cited a purported e-mail. the "washington post" reported that the document was unreliable, possibly a fake product of russian intelligence and could have been part of what sources tell cbs news was moscow's effort to plant fake news into the bloodstream of the election to discredit clinton. but before it was discredited, the document reached the highest form of law enforcement. fbi director james comey thought if it got out it would discredit the investigation. so he made the unusual announcement that he would. o
