good morning from the studio 57 newsroom at cbs news headquarters here in new york. good to be with you. i'm anne-marie green. stephen paddock's girlfriend says he was a kind, caring, quiet man and she has no idea what prompted him to unleash a deadly barrage of gunfire at a concert, but it's clear it with us well planned. at least 58 people were killed and hundreds injured. mola lenghi is in las vegas with more. mola, good morning. >> reporter: good morning, anne-marie. the clark county sheriff says while there's no concrete evidence that anyone helped stephen paddock carried out his massacre, he couldn't have acted alone. the sheriff suggests at some point paddock had to have had some help. investigators in las vegas continue to comb tgh

astronauts aboard the international space station are getting ready for a space walk this morning. two astronauts will venture outside to do maintenance on the station's robotic arm. it's the first of three scheduled space walks this month. when you think of drivers getting distracted behind the wheel, you generally think of smartphones, but new study says technology built into the dashboard can also be dangerous. meg oliver has more. >> reporter: infotainment puts technology at our fingerprints but a new study finds it can boo extremely distracting. researchers had volunteers test 30 different vehicles on

a car bursts into flames and triggered a brush fire. look atthis. northbound lanes of 14freeway were shut down as a result. firefighters continueto work on the fire. the carhad a mattress stuck under it and it sparked the fire to spread to the brush. a cold case is heating up. our partners report 4 men are being charged in connection with a shooting in silver springs. it happened back in 1994. allof them are charged with attempted murder and conspiracy to commit murder after a shooting left 3 people hurt. investigators believe this 1994 shooting may have been connected to a street gang that was very active in the '90s. wells fargo plans to refund customers. the company says it's a
