differences between the tax overhaul bills proposed by house republicans and the senate republicans. the senate outlined yesterday lays out the corporate tax rate from 35% to 25% until 2019. they repeal the state and local deduction. the house version allows property taxes to be deducted up to $10,000. the house bill would lower the cap on the mortgage interest rate deduction to $500,000. the senate version retains the $1 million ceiling. if they pass this, the conference committee would have to try to resolve the differences. today the folks in the great lakes, northeast and all the way down the mid-atlantic will feel the effects of first arctic air mass. some will feel and see snow like this in michigan. blizzards there made for rough travel.

sweaters. well, good morning. e i'm meteorologist eric fisher. we're tracking the coldest air we've seen in a long time. a big lobe of arctic air that's moving down to the eastern u.s. the focus of it on friday and sar. it's a quick hit but it's going sting. we haven't seen temperatures like this in quite a while. thee are high temperatures over the next couple of days. these are numbers that look like the middle of winter, not november. if you look at saturday morning, that should be the coldest morning in the northeast. 20s in new york city as well as boston. that could set new records. 20s in pittsburgh as well as washington. 30s all the way down into north georgia and freeze warnings posted around the tidewater across much of central and eastern north carolina and upstate as well, seeing the temperatures go well below the freezing mark. winter, it is starting

the review journal says o.j. simpson was banned from a hotel bafrmt they say he was drunk and unruly. simpson says he has been banned but denies he was intoxicated or belligerent. they say it's the most severe case of the degenerative neurological disease she shas seen in an athlete so young. hernandez was 27 when he hanged himself in april. he was serving a life sentence for murder. the "washington post" reports dozens more saudis are in custody in a sweep that's allegedly uncovered at least $100 billion in corruption. the detention of top princes, military officers, government officials, and business leaders began saturday. the saudi kingdom says more than 200 people

away falling nearly $57 a barrel. apple released an update. the bug in the auto correct feature would change the letter "i" to a capital a with a question mark in a box. only some users were affected. tech giant amazon is opening up pop-up stores. the pop-up shops will open in five locations in illinois, colorado, michigan, florida, and california. the shops would let customers test amazon devices and learn about its services. keep in mind they bought whole foods for nearly $14 million. and the franchise is growing. disney did not release details for the film in terms of dates or any further details regarding their

organization that provides service dogs to veterans in need was told to stop their work at two military installations in the area. john sat down with the founder of the warner k-9 connection to find out what. >> this is the warner k-9 connection, a nonprofit focussed in providing therapeutic service dogs. service members staying at walter reed once had a hand at training these dogs, too. well, that was until october 27th. >> it was a complete blind side. >> founder rick said that was when he got a call that his group had to stop their work at those two sites. no explanation was given. >> we've been providing services there for years and years. my initial thought, what happened. >> we reached out to both sites. only walter reed responded. part of their statement reads they issued the stop-work order so they could
