wendy miller said he asked her out on dates but her mother said no. leigh corfman said he kissed her and took off her shirt and pants. roy defeated the appointed senator luther strange in the primary this fall with the help of trump's former chief str strategist steve bannon. he compared the allegations against moore like trump before the election but did not bring him down. >> it's not a fair and free media anymore. >> republicans worry this scandal could open the door for a democratic pickup in deep red alabama. but it is too late at this point to replace moore's name

here all the more complex. >> all eyes, major, will be on it. the white house meantime is pushing congress to pass tax reform by the end of the year. the senate republicans released their proposal yesterday. it's different from the bill the house released. both would slash the rate from 35% to 20%. the house bill would create four income brackets. the senate maintains the current seven with a slightly lower top rate. it protects deductions from medical expenses and student loan interests that the house bill would repeal. neither would save the 401(k) savings plan. saudi arabia and iran. saudi arabia ordered all citizens to leave lebanon after the country's prime minister mysteriously announced he's stepping down. he made that

in saudi arabia. lebanon is on the front lines. secretary of state rex tillerson said the united states had been assured that he's not being held against his will. holy williams is in istanbul, turkey. good morning. >> reporter: good morning. he resigned suddenly while visiting saudi arabia and in very serious circumstances. there have been reports that saudi arabia authorities forced him to quit his job and he's being held under house arrest the saudis insist that al her pereirary is a free man. we have no reason to know what's happened. they're vying for power incountries including syria and yemen. iran has enormous influence

>> reporter: good morning. we're told senator paul has retained a personal injury lawyer in what he say was a violent attack while the attorney for his neighbor said their dispute was trivial and whatever happened was completely out of character for his client. senator rand paul's neighbor was in court thursday and entered a misdemeanor charge. >> he's deeply regretful. >> reporter: matt baker, boucher's attorney, said they were having a conversation when paul was working in his yard but paul's chief strategist called the incident a blind-side saying the two haven't spoken in many years. >> you don't think he was blind-sided. >> i think it

pop up over and over and we began looking into them. >> they say you reached out to the women. they say they brought it up years ago. >> some of the stories have been out there, rooted in the comedy world. but four of the women we spoke to, they felt this is the moment to speak. there is this movement, this sense of solidarity that their stories will get support, will be heard, be listened to in a way they felt may not have been happening in years past. >> and they're set to apologize at some point? >> that's right. several of them received messages from him or spoke on the phone and he expressed feeling sorry for his behavior and in some cases some of the people accepted his apology and forgave him, but one of the things that is concerning about the behavior, it hits deeply. an apology is a great

and culture and the finger on the establish millionaire and those who find how he feels about tax reform and other immigrants are those that they fervently feel passionate about? >> there's that connection. they have that first gut-level establishment, he's our guy, he's going to punch the establishment in the nose, but then when you can ask about the economy and what he's done well and what they think about congress, they connect on the policy level. they are not just making that cultural connection and then dropping it there. they're still with him as he makes the case for various pieces of policy. >> i like charlie's word there that this group is fascinating. you see supporters saying, yeah, he lies, he makes things up, he needs to be more presidential, he's our guy. yet he has the lowest approval rating of any president of our time. how big is this core group of people who
