this is "entertainment tonight." it's the headline that everyone is talking about. matt lauer fired from the "today" show and accused of sexual misconduct. we have been gathering new information all day about the alarming allegation and the turmoil it's causing at "today." >> we are grappling with the dilemma that so many people have faced these past few weeks. how do you reconcile your love for someone with the revelation that they have behaved badly? and i don't know the answer to that. >> i texted him this morning and i said, i adore you, and no person is perfect in this world. nobody is, we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of god is what scripture says. >> you love someone so much and then hear something and you go, wait, they doesn't make sense. >> nbc says that on monday night it, quote, received a detailed complaint from a colleague about inappropriate sexual behavior in the workplace by matt lauer.
