description. the second armed robbery in norfolk tonight happened on the other side of hampton boulard on colonial avenue. dispatchers tell us it happened just after nine. no one got, but the suspect got away. we're working to learn if these robberies are connected. call the crime line if you have any information. new tonight --a suffolk man who identifies as a pastor faces 26 sex crimes involving a minor. 54 year old anthony mcclain was supposed to be in court today. but, his case was continued. 10 on your side's liz palka has been looking into this story today. liz-- you talked to people close to the case. suspect. i also pulled 80 documents on this case, which started this past august. they include graphic interviews - and lab results. and an interview with a detective where mcclain admitted to the inappropriate relationship. according to his website and family - anthony mcclain ran a ministry out of his suffolk home on kings

54-year-old man sits in western tidewater regional jail. he faces 26 felony charges. aggravated sexual battery. indecent liberties with a child. and incest. c2 16:30:22 - i believe my husband is innocent and i'm standing by him 100%. mcclain's wife, deborah, spoke to us from her new home in north carolina. she says the accusations are not true. and said this about the victim in the she made these information about the victim. just that she was under 18 and known to mcclain. within this stack of court documents we learned the charges stem from incidents that started in april 2015...and ended august 4th when suffolk police were called to the mcclains house. interviews with a detective reveal the pastor at first denied the claims. and then admitted to them, but said the acts were consensual. mcclain's wife had this to say.... c2 16:24:46 - if that happened i don't know anything about it. c2 16:25:36 - if i

was guilty i would have nothing else to do with him, trust me. mcclain's next court appearance has been continued to february 24th. that is when he will be arraigned. i'm liz palka, 10 on your side. a former teacher has been indicted on a sexual offense charge involving a student. prosecutors say 27-year-old ryan garrott was a teacher at manteo high school. the d-a says the offense happened with an 18-year-old female student, in may. prosecutors say he's currently out of the country. a court date will be set after garrott is served. we continue to follow the dramatic crash that sent a tractor trailer soaring into the chesapeake bay this afternoon. you can see the aftermath, captured only by chopper 10. tonight, the driver is in the hospital- rescued after nearly an hour in frigid water. 10 on your side's liz kilmer is live from sentara norfolk general. liz, how is he doing? tom and nicole - we're told he will be okay - he was reportedly alert as the coast guard and multiple other

tractor-trailer accident-- and pictures-- right now on wavy dot com. developing tonight, a texas state trooper has lost his job following a perjury charge. it all stemmed from a traffic stop involving sandra bland three days later jail workers found bland dead in her cell. the dash cam video shows the traffic stop got heated betwen bland and trooper brian encinia. a grand jury already decided not to indict the county sheriff's office and the workers at the jail, but the texas department of public safety says it will fire encina. tonight, the white house says: there's no evidence north korea detonated a hydrogen bomb. we told you in breaking news last night-- the country announced it successfully tested the bomb. we do know something big exploded at the north korea test site. scientists say the waves created do not indicate it was an "h-bomb". the issue is still alarming, as many experts say the test singals that dictator kim jong un is developing the powerful weapon.

sent a bill to president obama's desk that would repeal the affordable care act. it's the first time this kind of bill has gone this far, and is sure to face a veto. the bill fulfills a promise lawmakers made to republican voters to repeal obamacare. it also would defund planned parethood. democrats called the bill pointless political theater since the president will veto it. comedian bill cosby will not face criminal charges on two sex assault cases in california. los angeles county prosecutors decided not to file charges against the comedian. the d-a says there's not enough evidence in a case from 2009, and the statue of limitations expired for the second case from 19-65. about 50 women have accused cosby of drugging them and performing unwanted sexual acts. he has denied any wrongdoing. last week, prosecutors in pennsylvania charged cosby in a sexual assault case. late today, a court there postponed his preliminary hearing-- without setting a new date.

currituck county are looking for two suspects they say robbed a bank. take a good look at these pictures. the sherriff says the pair robbed the towne bank of currituck in moyock this afternoon. police in virginia are also on high alert. along with the suspects they're also looking for white ford focus or fusion, deputies say is a vehicle of interest. developing news-- police in chesapeake are still searching for the suspect they say tried to abduct a woman this morning. investigators say: around nine a-m, a man with his face covered, approached a woman as she was getting into her car on rosemont avenue. we're told the suspect assaulted her-- and pulled her out of her car. the victim managed to escape. call the crime line if you have any information. police in hampton are trying to find out what happened to two people found dead in a home. they say they got a call for a welfare check at a house on charolais run - and found a man and woman dead inside. a man who lives in the neighborhood says he's related by marriage to the man in the home. he says the family plans

developing tonight, hundreds of local jobs are on the line, as macy's plans to close three stores in our area. the company says it expects to place about 50-percent of affected workers in other positions. the department store blames dissappointing sales from last year. the macy's stores closing in our area are at military circle mall in norfolk, chesapeake square mall in chesapeake, and the one at peninsula town center in hampton. almost 275 workers are affected. in all, 40 stores nationwide will close. tolls on bridges and tunnels will be a big topic when the general assembly reconvenes next week. state senator frank wagner and delegate chris jones think taxpayers got a raw

tonight, t-s-a officials are calling it "an alarming trend" a record number of weapons seized at checkpoints at norfolk international airport-- and nationwide. the t-s-a says they confiscated 16 guns in 20-15. that's up from seven in the two previous years. officials have not said what they believe is causing the spike. they remind travelers to file a firearm declaration sheet with the airline-- and put the weapon in a checked bag. the gun and ammunition

money and not delivering. edward prince has been convicted of fraud in four different cities in hampton roads. 10 on your side's chris horne talked to victims who say they may see what's owed to them. c 17 13:54 carlena porter fraud victim they after he pleaded guilty in norfolk. prince has now been convicted in four different cities - this was video of his guilty plea last summer in chesapeake. he was also convicted in portsmouth and virginia beach. but the norfolk case involved the most victims - nine. prince had operated this office on west 24th street. about three years ago he started to take the money carlena porter fraud victim we gave him $1,800 right then for the headstone so he could order it from the company after several weeks went by, porter says prince began giving her evasive answers. c 17 14:46 carlena porter fraud victim he would give me excuses that the truck was stuck up north

different excuses that didn't make sense now, prince must make restitution of more than 17 thousand dollars to the nine victims. porter says she's not confident that will happen. c 17 17:02 carlena porter fraud victim do you think you'll ever see that money? no, i don't. just don't think it will happen? it won't happen, he'll end up going back to jail for probation violation for not making restitution. prince will be sentenced in norfolk in april. that sentence will be added to the 14-months he's serving on a fraud conviction in virginia beach. prince will also be sentenced for a case in chesapeake. a string of break-ins has shattered the safety in a chesapeake senior community. police say on sunday night, someone broke into almost a dozen cars in the parking lot of the "chesapeake crossing" senior apartment complex.

didn't take much-- but they leftalot of damage behind. residents say they spent around 500- dollars for repairs. its money the seniors don't have. 10 on your side reached they have not returned our calls. 10 on your side is looking into three robberies at local 7-11s this morning, all within 30 minutes. first, the 7-11 on chesapeake boulevard in norfolk -- when the suspect pulled a gun and shot a clerk in the chest. 10 on your side obtained this surveillance video of the incident, you're seeing the moments leading up to the actual shooting. another employee at the store this afternoon said the clerk is out of the hospital. the suspect got away with about 50 dollars cash. police are searching for overnight 7-eleven robberies. they happened in virginia beach and in smithfield. first to virginia beach-- at the edwin drive store near mount trashmore.

officers say he shoved an employee out of the way and took money. no one was hurt. in smithfield, police arrested a man for the hold-up at the 7-eleven on west main street. authorities say clarence roby was the lookout, when a second suspect robbed the store at gunpoint. police caught up with roby-- but they're still looking for the other guy. call the crime line if you can help police with any of these cases. a developing case in baltimore. a judge ordered the first officer who went to trial in freddie gray's death must testify in the next officer's trial. officer william porter has to testify during officer ceasear goodson's trial or he could face jail time. officer goodson faces the most serious charge of the six officers, second-degree murder. he was driving the police van last year when prosecutors say gray recieved his deadly spinal cord injury. still to come, why the question where's the beef, may require a serious answer if you bought hamburger
