tonight a worker is recovering after police say someone stabbed them during an armed robbery - in broad daylight. it's the latest in a string of robberies we've told you about. here's a look at the scene today in virginia beach.

dozens of sea turtles are back into the gulf of mexico tonight. crews released them in florida. these kemp's ridley sea turtles got lost on their way south last week because of the cold water, and needed a little t-l-c. after a few days of warming up-- they were ready to head back out. 22 other turtles are still in rehab, but they should get released soon. new tonight, federal officials say they'll remove manatees from the endangered species list. the u-s fish and wildlife says the mammals should be reclassified as "threatened." it cites improving population numbers and says the move would not reduce protection measures for the species already in place. conservationists argued it the move should not just be about the numbers. they say more than 24 hundred manatees were killed between 2010 and 2013. a public
