roads. and -- baby rescue -- video shows firefighters rescuing a baby during a massive apartment fire. people in hampton roads will see a double punch of weather over the next 48 hours. first a chance for a wintry mix -- and then frigid temperatures will move into our area. a lot of us will see temperatures drop well below freezing. before we talk mororabout the cold -- lets take a of two tells -- we saw plenty of sun and warm temperatures today. but, tomorrow we can expect those big changes to move in. meteorologist ashley baylor is in the super doppler 10 weather center to let us know how cold it's going to get and the places most likely to see any snow. ashley? overnight: mostly cloudy. relatively mild. lows: near 40. winds: light morning. some wet snow could mix in north and west of the metro. highs: low-40s. winds: n 10 about today - it was pleasant. we are tracking another storm system that will move across florida close enough that we'll

through out wavy 10 weather app. it's free for both apple and android users. new tonight -- police are looking for three people wanted in an armed robbery. portsmouth police say three men wearing masks robbed a dragon city chinese restaurant delivery driver. it happened on towne point road. officers say the three walked up to the delivery driver and robbed him at gunpoint. police in virginia beach are investigating two armed robberies of 7-11s at the oceanfront tonight. police say the first was on pacific avenue near 24th street around 7:15. the second armed robbery was just 10 minutes later and three blocks away on 27th street. police say no one was hurt. police have not said if the two robberies are related. we're working to find out how many suspects are involved. police are looking for the person responsible for a robbery at a store on south lynnhaven rd this morning. the call came into 9-1-1 just before 11. we're working to find out if the person had a gun - and the store that was robbed.

information on any of these robberies -- call the crime line. two men are in jail facing terrorism charges. police charged 28-year-old joseph hassan farrokh and 25-year-old mahmoud amin mohamed elhassan after farookh tried to travel to syria to join isil. officer nabbed farrokh at richmond international airport friday afternoon. he was trying to get on a flight to chicago. officials say from there he was to fly to amman, jordan and then to syria. police say elhassan drove farookh to richmond. they arrested him when he returned to woodbridge - in northern virginia. if convicted, each of the men face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. five americans have been released from iranian custody. one of those americans is washington post journalist jason rezaian. he spent spent more than 500 days in an iranian prison on espionage charges. u-s officials said the u-s offered clemency to seven iranians, six of whom are dual u-s- iranian citizens, who are already convicted or are pending trial in the united states. virginia beach delegate

his bid for u.s. congress today. speaking to supporters at keagan's irish pub in town center at his first public appearance since making the announcement yesterday. taylor who is an entreprenuer and former navy seal says he's proud of his work to advance legislation on small business, education and veterans services. with this announcement, taylor says his run for lieutenant put on hold. ((c53 17:18-17:28)) "i know that right now this in terms of economic issues that affect and are important to the families in the second district, and i will be the man who is able to represent you up there in congress." the current state delegate is running for congressman scott rigell's second congressional district seat. rigell said earlier this week he will not seek re-election. the second district covers the eastern shore and virginia beach. that could change under a current redistricting plan being reviewed by the u.s. supreme court. newport news police arrested a suffolk man last night - in domestic assault in

norfolk police are investigating an accident... where a car went into the water. we got these pictures into the newsroom around 6 this evening. just before 5:30 the car went into the water near llewelyn avenue. the person made it out of the car. we're working to find more information about the accident. we're looking into an accident that happened this morning on interstate 64 near the fort eustis exit. we got this picture of the crash into the wavy newsroom. we've learned a person was injured. in the picture you can see the car went throught the guard rail. the north carolina department of justice is health insurance glitch- that left many worried - they were without health insurance. about 25-thousand blue cross blue shield customers in north carolina reported not reciving insurance cards on time, and were unable to verify coverage or submit payments. the insurer now says 94-percent of those

s/karen weaver/flint mayor :14 "so we can positive. we have to stick together and that way we can continue to move flint forward." the u-s justice department is working with the environmental protection agency to investigate. some friends and family of the marines missing after friday's hawaii helicopter crash are still holding out hope for their loved ones. relatives say corporal matthew drown and crew chief ty hart were in that crash. according to a family spokesperson 21 year old hart was married just six months ago, and the family is waiting for updates about the crash and asking the public for support and privacy . rough seas have hampered the search efforts for the 12 missing marines. although an exact cause of the crash has not been released... marine corps pilots say night-time helicopter maneuvers, whether in combat or in training are the most dangerous flight operations.

among at least 28 people killed in an attack last night in west africa. al qaeda is claiming responsibility for those murders. mike riddering's family tells nbc news his wife amy identified his body at the morgue. his wife posted on facebook that mike was inside a restaurant during the attack that also targeted an upscale hotel. dozens of people were injured in the attack. burkina faso's president said security forces killed four attackers and freed more than 126 people. a fire rips through nearly a dozen apartment units in alabama. video shows paramedics rescuing and handing off a baby. the four-month old was suddenly placed in anna reeves' hands. she says she was looking at the fire late thursday night when she felt a tap on her shoulder... next thing she knows, she's being handed a baby. the young child and its entire family barely made it out of their burning apartment. crews had to break through a cinder block wall to rescue the parents and three kids. they're all o-k...and reeves says the
