roberts. we're continuing to follow that breaking news out of new york. a norfolk southern train derailed in upstate new york carrying hazardous materials. this happened around 11:30 last night in the town of ripley in chautauqua county, near the pennsylvania our affiliate station says the derailment is evacuations and shelter-in-place orders. so far, there are no reports of injuries. officials say two of the 15 derailed train cars were carrying ethanol. the new york governor says one of those cars is leaking. firefighters evacuated about 55 homes within a 1-thousand foot radius of the accident. those families are staying at several churches. 3 supers 1:20 - 1:26 runs 6 (stella zeigler/mechanic street resident) "first it was the house shaking real bad, and then the train otto/south state street resident) "i just heard a loud ... almost like a tornado was coming

today murder cases that have shaken the charlottesville area are expected to come to an end. today jesse matthew junior is expected to take a plea deal in the deaths of two college students. 10 on your side's rico bush has more on what's expected today, and what this means for two grieving families. rico? don, the plea agreements are likely to bring relief and a sense of closure to get justice. this afternoon, prosecutors say matthew will plead guilty to the murders of graham and harrington to avoid the death penalty. prosecutors said they planned to seek the death penalty, if matthew was convicted in the graham's case. her case was scheduled to go to trial this summer. graham disappeared from virginia in september 20-14. police found her remains the next month on abandoned property in miles from the university. virginia tech student morgan harrington a metallica

charlottesville in 2- thousand-9. authorities found her remains on a farm months later. her case was scheduled to go to trial in the fall. matthew is already serving three life sentences in a seperate case. he was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman in fairfax county in 2- thousand-5. after prosecutors announced the plea agreements monday, harrington's mother reacted to the emerging deals, saying she supported them. big margin in most hampton roads cities, except in williamsburg where sanders beat clinton by just two-points. now to the republicans, where donald trump won virginia and most of hampton roads. he received 35-percent. marco rubio was a close second at 32- percent, and ted cruz was third with 17- percent. when we go city-by-city, williamsburg once again goes against the norm. rubio won with 41-percent, trump and john kasich actually tied for second at 22-percent, and cruz dropped to third with just 10-percent. for a closer look at the results, go to wavy-dot-com, and click "election results" on the homepage. new this morning, norfolk police are looking for two overnight robbery suspects. investigators say two armed men hit the 7-11 on granby street at la valette avenue just after midnight. that's in the riverview neighborhood. officers say no one was hurt. call the crime line if you know anything. police in suffolk are looking for the person who killed a 42-year-old man.

this yesterday morning when investigators said they found wayne watford's body in the pleasant hill cemetery off old dill road. his brother-in-law, keith edwards says watford had troubles, and was in and out of jail. c34 keith edwards - clothes and i would take my clothes, whatever i could give him you know to get his self back, get his self back on his feet for a little while and then he would fall, he would fall again." so far police have neither given us any suspect information, nor told us how watford died. call the crime line if you know anything. a family is suing a norfolk police officer for shooting and killing their loved one two years ago. relatives of david latham want nine- million dollars in a wrongful death suit against officer michael edington. he shot latham after police say he threatened them with a knife. latham's family says he was having a mental episode, and they

him to the hospital. officer edington is awaiting trial on manslaughter charges in the case. we now know more about the woman who died in a fire in norfolk friday. family members say it was 65-year-old claudia ridley. she died in a massive house fire kingston avenue, in ocean view. firefighters are still looking for the cause. ridley's family says in her last moments she was a hero. she saved her roommate and her roommate's two children, but didn't make out of the burning home. roylen ridley "my sister woke them up. they were asleep and they got up the son that was 13 and then they grabbed the baby the toddler that was 2 years old and they got to the window the 13 year old went out first then she with the baby in her arms tried to get out the window to jump and she lost her balance and she fell." the roommate and the two

at this resident. the results from super tuesday are in. donald trump and hillary clinton gained momentum while holding on to their leads. trump and clinton each won seven primaries including virginia. for the republicans, donald trump built a sizeable lead and picked up at least 197 delegates. overall trump now has 279 delegates. senator ted cruz, who won his home state of texas and picked-up oklahoma and alaska. he has 154 delegates. senator marko rubio won minnesota and has 83 delegates. governor john kasich has

has 8. a nominee needs more than 1200 delegates to win the republican nomination. clinton solidified her overall delegate lead over senator bernie sanders. including superdelegates, clinton how has at least 969 delegates to sander's 319. sanders won primaries in four states including his home state of vermont. he also won the caucus in colorado yesterday. it takes almost 2400 delegates to be the democratic nominee. hillary clinton supporters and volunteers gathered at a watch party tuesday night. they watched the results come in from guad's on granby street. many saying they're longtime volunteers. some have even been working the phones to get out the vote. they say, they still have plenty of work to do. those supporters say they will be back to work this week. supporters of senator bernie sanders gathered in his norfolk campaign office to listen to him speak -- after it was projected that he lost the democratic primary in virginia. the independent won in

the results from super tuesday are in. donald trump and hillary clinton gained momentum while holding on to their leads. trump and clinton each won seven primaries including virginia. for the republicans, donald trump built a sizeable lead and picked up at least 197 delegates. overall trump now has 279 delegates. senator ted cruz, won his home state of texas and picked-up oklahoma and alaska. he has 154 delegates. senator marco rubio won minnesota and has 83 delegates. governor john kasich has 24 and doctor ben carson has 8. a nominee needs more than 12-hundred delegates to win the republican nomination. clinton solidified her overall delegate lead over senator bernie sanders. including superdelegates, clinton how has at least 969 delegates to
