6:16 pm
what's gonna happen because as we head into the weekend saturday and into sunday we're going to happen to some warmer air so saturday will be back in the sixties and then some low to mid sixties in the forecasts by sunday so notice the greens on the map there but as we head into monday into tuesday we're going to get a cold or push of air move in and that will drop our temperatures back into the forties as we head into next week. satellite and radar are sleeping mainly dry but we do have the clouds across the area and we've got some showers offshore that's associated with an area of low pressure over the gulfstream actually tweeted this photo out because we've got this area of low pressure does rotating off the southeast coast not in effect as of the to continue to head off to the north and east and then tracking a line of showers off to our south and west of the showers will head our way but they will just fall apart as they do so will bring us a chance for a few stray showers as we head into friday so let's talk about the rest of the evening we're
6:17 pm
on to the clouds look i mostly cloudy a stray showers possible in the morning but rain chances picking up as that system pulls off to the north and east and even along the outer banks can't rule out a stray shower with the area of low pressure and then as we had a tea or saturday morning mostly cloudy skies and wilderness in the sunshine much over the next couple of days but rain chances will be picking up so we will remain mainly dry saturday morning and then by saturday afternoon saturday night notice rain showers started to approach the western part of the state that will head our way later on saturday night and last into sunday morning. so forty five degrees tonight that's very mild for this time of the year we should be in the low thirties least kick off the day on friday ending the workweek temperatures and the low to mid fifties we could see some upper fifties in some spots fifty five in newport news and northeastern north carolina you'll climb near sixty degrees tomorrow well above where we said before this time of the year will climb into the sixties this weekend. rain chances will increase the sadder day
6:18 pm
