inland areas falling a little bit more down through the mid twenties and then we really don't go a whole lot below that there might be a few really in what areas that are lower twenties but the big news is it will be cold plenty cold to see snow if we could get the precipitation and hear all the readings were still this lau and i think we will start to see again as we've been talking about for days now days upon days late morning afternoon starting to see that mix of precipitation arriving will start out as snow or a mix on the southside start out as snow for most areas from around norfolk north and west and then gradually the later in the day we go for the evening rush will start to see everything transitioning over to rain for much of our area. that's why i chose to show the one map that was through the end of rush hour at seven o'clock when now again we have this total starting to build notice. overnight rain heavy at times this rain snow line

all ahead on thirty news now at six. and here we go again after a dusting in some areas last night were bracing for more snow than system you see there is poised to bring snow and sleet down to roast this can make for a mass heading into the weekend and we just got word that southampton county schools in virginia are closed tomorrow we're also getting word of early dismissals for at least two other school districts both hampton and newport news public schools will dismiss early tomorrow we'll keep you informed ahead of the storm and during the storm the most cases on the peninsula where vinod crews are already hitting the road system goes live in dhaka for governor mcauliffe declared a state of emergency but we begin in the weather lah. jeff is tracking the storm's movements and there's so much to talk about with so many different areas let me give you the bottom line for sort of an overview of crippling storm for central western and

talking about that for days and days. strong winds high tides heavy rain for most of our area and some snow. we will have two periods of snow one at the beginning and once again at the answer let's talk about some of the different computer models there are certain sections why think some of these are right on another flight think they're totally wrong. so let me show in then all sort of give you my version coming up in a little bit. this is by the entire time frame through the entire storm by sunday as you can see seventeen inches in richmond six in newport news to happen or pick one at the beach one in elizabeth city. this is the canadian model. now granted this doesn't go as far but still goes through saturday evening we're going to have more snow saturday night and sunday. so these amounts would go up a little but i don't like these these are too low in my opinion some kind of throw that one out about this one thirteen in richmond that's fairly close to the other one two
