5:38 am
our north. now for reporting twenty seven degrees here to look at satellite and radar we do have some very light showers across a portion of the viewing area most of us our drive to southern virginia beach very light activity stretching into creeds also knotts island you're catching a little shower there stretching down all the way it's a water lily that to continue to push off the northeast we've got more moisture to the south riding right along this boundary i was going to happen these two areas of low pressure will sort of converge and will head off to the north and east. so as a dye that can be close enough to bring some showers and see the sunset on our future cast as we head to the rest of the morning will see mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies partly cloudy a little bit farther to the north by lunch time temperatures generally on one cooler than the model generally and the low forties as we head into this afternoon will top out in the mid forties but notice a lot of the rain especially the heavy rain will hold off
5:39 am
and this evening future cast was to keep all of this moisture down into a north carolina. i don't think so i do think we'll see some showers especially stretching across the south side possibly on to the eastern shore. temperatures though dropping back into the forties and even the thirties quickly as the system pulls away so we will see a lot of sunshine as we start the day on friday to look at these numbers starting off pretty chilly with temperatures generally in the low thirty the special closer to the coast will see numbers like many upper twenties right around thirty a little bit farther and one bites my action and plenty of sunshine highs climbing near fifty degrees so we just have to deal with the rain mainly today and then we're going to see a nice stretch of dry weather so for today temperatures climbing into the mid forties we could see some upper forties a little bit father at one forty six in him said mid forties as well on the eastern shore northeastern north carolina will likely climb near fifty by this afternoon to get a better chance for rain
5:40 am
northeastern north carolina supported by the way the light and plenty of sunshine and very mild conditions as we headed to the weekend and then tracking our next chance of rain by the middle part of next week the weather forecasts actually access the shipping wasn't a live look now at traffic and shows people are focusing on sixty four right around battlefield greenbrier for sixty four even opening the high rise bridge in this area here this is sixty four way round greenbrier so could that area you can see traffic is kind of moving the same way in those spots. westbound traffic in the river eastbound traffic to battlefield a pickup in volume but nothing major although lanes are open and traffic is moving very well this morning on the traffic network maps doing nothing around the base of the road the maps haven't yet updated they will probably the next few minutes here or so i checked the traffic cameras out around naval station norfolk the flight delay i was seeing just passed get three a that has since cleared you are now at this
