police went door to door to talk to off campus residence the volunteers check out homes and handed out door alarms light bulbs and other safety education information on new video of local sailors in action around the world we found this video posted on the facebook page of the carrier uss harry s truman. it shows sailors doing community service a school in croatia while they were on in port there told the crew help clean up graffiti among other projects one of the teachers at the school says the special interaction goes on long way the so called start on this saturday morning we've got a lot of locations waking up to temperatures and that's what he isn't just about everyone below freezing here's a look at them at twenty two degrees right now and wallace were coming at twenty four in gloucester on the eastern shore we've got thirty also
6:17 am
then onto the peninsula we've got one is twenty two in newport news twenty seven right now and hansen were thirty three a downtown newport news and across the south side look at these numbers eighteen degrees right now in longview twenty nine downtown suffolk where twenty eight let no one can spell and northeastern north carolina you're not left out of the what's twenty eight degrees or twenty five degree the chutes and gates fell twenty six right now is the city and were coming in at freezing and kill devil hills so called start to the morning but we never see some changes as we head into sunday. the jet stream a live way to the north and that will allow us to tap into a southerly wind that the brain a much milder conditions and to our forecast the area as we headed to the second half of the weekend so here's a look at satellite and radar or something nice and dry we're going to see clear skies as we had about two days a lot of sunshine today as high pressure remains in control high pressure will slowly slide off to the east and over the atlantic as we headed to your sunday again
6:18 am
southerly wind that some will even help to boost our temperatures as we head through the day today i've been a lot of sunshine by lunch time temperatures climbing into the mid forties now as we head into the afternoon hours will climb into the fifties and then quickly fall back into the low forties by eight nine o'clock tonight so he didn't have any plans tonight definitely bundle at the ualbany players. the good thing is as we start off sunday morning we are going quite as chilly as we aren't this morning a lot of locations in the thirties tomorrow morning for his closer to the coast and then notice what happens with that south westerly wind and we're going to see those afternoon highs in the sixties tomorrow we are really messy especially if you like the warmer conditions. so for today temperatures just about everywhere in the fifties even on the peninsula the middle peninsula little bit cooler right around fifty degrees. also cool on the eastern shore with temperatures in the mid to upper forties low fifties across northeastern north carolina fifty three gates velez was hard for in tenure
6:19 am

being a small business that care and they took the five thousand dollars in cash rather than invest it back in the business they gave it to her shelter. that's right this store that contributes each month to nonprofits gave away their whole war or her self serving at their building a new shelter out in weston ranch area so we want to make sure they were able to get that off the ground in the hammock matching sponsor so when you gave that five thousand is returned and ten thousand i knew i would enjoy working in here love these people and to walk in you'll see each section has its own thing so i definitely stressed the importance of understanding are different stories and why we have much a nice group together and are actually selling a product in here called who truly puts up with this lexi so who parade is what we call the marriage saver. it's all essential oils so it's great for septic
