finding justice untested rape kits that have sat on shelves and police departments for years are finally heading to get tested for dna evidence investigative reporter laura geller joins us for the next step in issue thirteen news now has been investigating offer almost two years and has been that long we just operations area for the virginia beach police department. we were the only media invited to take a look at the three hundred and forty four rape kits that will have for testing in northern virginia first thing tomorrow. these kits cover cases which date back decades ago to sexual assault in july of twenty fourteen. the kids were inventory and packed up eleven boxes which sworn officers will take up to the bodie last thirteen years now was first to tell you that is a private lab with the capability of testing the thousands of rape kits listed in the state inventory in the victim's family and our bonding was symbolic for

major controversial case since the death of justice antonin scalia. now the justices must decide if a texas law that regulates abortion clinics hampers a woman's constitutional right to obtain an abortion. loren lester shows as both sides of the debate pro choice protesters and pro life protesters joined by house speaker paul ryan the opposing sides of an abortion case the supreme court this morning. this is the most important abortion rights case to be argued the supreme court in almost twenty five years at esu twenty thirteen texas law that imposes a variety of regulations on abortion clinics. supporters of the law say it's about protecting women's health. if the supreme court in this case holds these laws it will be a victory for patient health and safety. the answer in part because it addresses a predatory abortion industry those challenging the law
