few showers mixing with the puc sleek palettes also can't rule out fleas. if you are snowflakes and some of that but again for the most part. rain chances remaining pretty low this morning was as high as thirty percent as best as you had a little bit farther north so for the south side about a twenty percent chance of showers as state twenty two as high as thirty percent for points northward and then across northeastern north carolina anywhere from ten to twenty percent for this morning as we head into this afternoon our rain chances will go down drastically. so for this morning mostly cloudy skies will climb to the mid forties by midmorning will top out in the upper forties near fifty degrees. a lot of sunshine this afternoon into the evening and clear skies overnight those clear skies will lead to some cold conditions. i'll talk about a warm up though coming up for the workweek as in just a few minutes john. we love warm ups sinks a shot a traffic alert this weekend the midtown tunnel. elizabeth river tunnels plans to install pedestrian bridge

it's time for a weekend morning tradition shows et al are all over to get your deals of the week were here with laura oliver from a for the tic tac hot and we're going to stop talking about my favorite they would favor a castle in the back starbucks and a trap and he knows which i know are also your ganache filling her favorite your favorite places so on the seventh which is tomorrow and starbucks is going to have half price repartee news from two pm to close. normally they only do until like five or six o'clock so you have to run over there after going up for exactly the clothes they are doing it for their rewards members only. ok so not to pay anything to join their rewards program it's super simple you can go online and do it so if you want to go get a frappe and for some reason you haven't join their free rewards program you can go and do that now good friends yesterday and had starbucks. i've no idea why they're doing it normally they have it's friends day or whenever yeah there's been nothing for this one so i'm wondering if they just think it's been a while and they
7:47 am
so i don't know i'm in the day after that you can head to i hop because it's their national pancake celebration they do this every year where you get a fresh free stack of their buttermilk pancakes and i may have a bucket sitting out for different organizations free to drop off donations for those so the pancakes are free but they do you know they would like you to throw a buck or two right in there to support him usually its children's miracle network but i know some of the locations will use local places so i can see maybe chp ending up in some way or that kind of thing. as always please tape yet to read this which you would have paid and that's from seven a m to seven pm coz i not alone twenty four hours south and then on saturday. you can head out it's free museum day this is something that happens twice a year i think is while the smithsonian dies kind where you can go in to get free tickets to a bunch of museums around the country album and the let you in for free it's two tickets per household. chiong some of them like it's funny
7:48 am
the list it's free all the time to sow oh yes not really that great of a deal by not the price museums are great i love it there but the zoo is on the west which i normally do have to pay to get into and so is not a guess. ok so those are two really great places to get into a kind of take a family day out. hopefully the weather be good for the zero the outside i guess if not then you can had ever done atticus go inside for the bulk of that but that's a chance to go try some new places out in sort of see what they're doing and is it was actually doing a membership swap right now with the living museum over newport news where you can get half off and have a mission if you're as a ticket holder to the living museum an affair with a gonzaga there's some big advantages to having her mom having to free passes to this place so this could be a chance to go check the zoo offer free write and see if you like it enough and then you want and we can just go on your site get it so had ever to forget that comes you have to sign up for those tickets and they will cut locations off once they hit the amount of
7:49 am
get out for those days and speaking of tickets i told everyone i would remind them in my last little bits busch gardens right now the buyer fun pass it will get you into both parks that is going to end very soon so there's my little plug head over to a frugal tip dot com so that you make sure you get the right pass and all great information but i don't want people to miss out we have a timeframe that ends the nineteenth other fifty is old hat because the park is opening early this year because easter is so early i always like to be open for all the spring breaks that the schools do normally runs until the end of march they don't want people who are like last year we bought it on the twenty cent not going to work this year you have to do about a fifteen for those who maybe weren't watching last weekend we talked about it is explaining relates to the fun pass which is their seventy seven dollar to get its normally that christ is to get into the park for one day. ok we'll get you into the park all summer long in the gym to busch gardens and if you buy it before the fifteenth it will get you all so into water country can be found on the side of my sight a big huge picture would buy one get one free on it so head over there and
