live.... mike... unbelievable... it really is tricia... considering inside the room was a 7- month old girl and the two people who overdosed were her parents... cincinnati police tell us that medical staff entered the room around 11:30 this morning and found 32-year- old..mary ann landers in her child's room. she was unconscious with a needle in her arm...and was later determined to be deceased. according to police, the father, 31-year-old wesley landers, was found locked inside a private bathroom...he too was unconscious with a heroin syringe in his arm. authorities say two other needles were found on the bathroom sink counter. police say the medical staff was able to administer narcan to landers and he was revived and taken to uc medical center for treatment. they also say when a staff member searched landers'

found he had a loaded 22-caliber handgun in his pocket... the mother also had a gun on her. afte his medical treatment landers was placed under arrest and now faces a host of charges including drug possession, having drug paraphanalia on his person, carrying a concealed weapon and having that weapon while under disability. we do know that the family is from alabama...but it's still unclear why the child was being treated here at children's... just a bizzare chain of events here this afternoon ..we will stay in touch with

caught fire last the life of wolterman. this was the scene. investigate the fire as arson... new documents show that police were called to the home on pater avenue 4 times over the last few years. the first was an incident back in 2011 where the residential alarm went off but no suspects were found. the next year, a vehicle out front was keyed. and last july, the homeowners filed a police report that someone had threatened them. then this past november, documents show several items were stolen from the home including a shotgun, grandfather clock, and tools. in all of these incidents... no arrests were made. police say the neighbors are the

the country are banning hoverboards! gordon graham has joining the list. open-----here on the uc campus residence halls, like this one, are no ride zones for hoverboards. uc president santa ono tells me the about concerns santa-------there's some safety concerns in terms of their battery. some of them are exploding, some of them are fire hazards and so the safety of our students is really paramount. ono says it hasn't been decided if the hoverboard restrictions should extend to other parts of campus. . santa----i'm still reviewing that. as you know skateboards are permitted on the university of cincinnati campus so we have a group that's looking at that, but right now the ban is on the residence halls. schools may be concerned about hoverboards bursting into flames, but the consumer product safety commission issued a warning last month about hoverboard student says hoverboards may attract unwanted attention. single time you see someone riding
