oscar nominations....the buzz continues to cincinnati in the film industry. so is it helping local business? hear more in just a minute. on a rainy night in the queen city. the way! we've got your forecast on the way. and new details keep emerging in the murder investigation of a west chester teen. we've got the latest on all these stories coming up.... but first... family and friends gathered in hamilton tonight to remember the life of man killed in front of his own mother earlier this week. our own megan o'rourke joins us live with more. megan... tragic story. tonight, officers here at the hamilton p-d told me they are no closer to catching the killer.

homicide. you're looking at tyler crawford who was arrested today and charged with aggravated police say he shot and killed 22-year old elijah johnson compton road earlier this week. he's also charged with shooting and seriously injuring another person as well. crawford is expected to be in court tomorrow morning. right now 4 people are behind bars in connection with the shooting death of a 2015 lakota high school graduate. today police arrested 3 more suspects in the death of 18-year old tyler kass-so kassow. justin koch, jibril willingham and rodney foster are all charged with complicity to aggravated murder. they join demarcus staley who's been charged with murder. police say the group broke into kass-so cincinnati-columbus road and shot him. right now investigators are being tight lipped about the say it wasn't a random crime. came together in that mazda protege. two remained in the vehicle

police tell us the victims suv--and we are talking about 24-year-old ieasha williams---was in the left lane along reading road when the sliver or grey sedan pulled along side it. then because of the two different shell casings recoved at the scene-- that leads police to belive there was an exchange of gun fire. ieasha williams would continune to drive unti she crashed her vehicle into a metro access van. police tell us the passagger that was in the victims suv with her left the scene, came back--grabbed something out of the suv and left again. leaving the victim there, alone. police said when they arrived williams was unconsious. and tonight, they are still searching for the shooter. we know the suspects vehicle was a grey sedan possibly an altima police said there is some survelliace video that they are

average price for gas in cincinnati is $1.73. that's compared to the national average of $1.91. why the low prices? well today was the first time in 12 years that the price of oil fell below $30 a barrel. the reason for it, decreased demand, particularly in china, and too much supply. now needless to say people here are just a little stoked about these cheap prices. so we asked them, when was the last time they remember gas prices being this low? "let's see im 61, ten years or so or more? so yeah, this is crazy. wow, i can't even remember. i filled up off of ten bucks man, ten bucks. i can get everywhere i need to be for cheap. you can get a full tank for like 10 dollars. less, less filling up. cause like, you can fill up for once a week instead of getting 20 dollars for

all good guesses. we actually went back and crunched the numbers and the last time gas averaged about a $1.50 in cincinnati was seven years ago in early 2009. so will these prices continue to drop? well with sanctions being lifted on iran, more oil is expected to enter the market, further increasing supply, and some experts believe prices to fall as in the coming time that happened? these prices may become a more common sight across the area. reporting in reading, matt holiner, fox 19 now. thanks matt. and while the low gas prices are good for most people... it's causing some problems on wall street. take a look at the the dow ended the but at one point... it points! financial analysts

been shot in avondale on alaska avenue. it happened around 9-thirty. no word yet on that victims condition or if police have arrested a suspect. we've got a crew headed to the scene. we'll be sure to let you know as more details come in. in other news... one person is recovering tonight after a fire in lebanon. take a look at the video taken by deputy fire chief billy goldfeder. crews responded to the home on east main street around noon finding the home fully engulfed. police say a man was flown to miami valley hospital with serious burns... but is expected to survive. no word yet on a possible cause. red cross his helping families who were displaced. two parents accused of delaying medical care for their sick 4-month-old baby appeared in court this morning. 22-year old clinton randolph and 22- year old denayshia lattimore are facing child endangering charges. according to court records, cincinnati police arrested the pair thursday after an

determined they delayed seeking medical care for their daughter who was having seizures. records also show the child was underweight and malnourished. bond for randolph was set at 40- thousand dollars, while lattimores was set at 20. both are ordered to stay away from the child. the ohio first district court of appeals has upheld former hamilton county juvenile court judge tracie hunter's conviction for unlawful interest in a public contract. hunter, seen here at a court appearance back in october...was sentenced to six months in jail on the single count but has remained free since challenging the conviction. a court official said her sentence will be addressed next week. the same day hunter begins a retrial for eight felony charges. let's give you a live look downtown on a soggy night. a mild day but that cold air is coming back right jeff? live wx tease
