callers may remain anonymous. happening today happening today... people across the country will be remembering the life of dr. martin luther king junior. and a number of events will be held here in the tri- state. kara dblbx our dan wells joins us live from the freedom center... where folks will gather for a march in just a few hours... live despite the cold weather, cincinnati residents plan to honor the legacy of king jr. with numerous event across the tri- state that celebrate dr. king's legacy. take a look at the schedule of events today. at 8 a.m., the martin luther king coalition will begin the holiday with a sold-out king legacy awards breakfast. at 10 a.m., cincinnati's mlk march runs from the freedom center to fountain square for an interfaith prayer service. marchers will then head to music hall for the mlk commemorative celebration at

popular festivals... is coming to a close. recognize this event? this is video of the st. rita fest from a few years ago. on the group's facebook page, organizers posted that st. rita will focus on other funding avenues to ensure its future success. st. rita school for the deaf has put on the festival since 19-16 - making it the longest running festival in the tri- state. it's going to be brutally cold out their this morning...and that can cause some potentially dangerous conditions for your pets. ohio police officer...has come to a tragic end. herschel jones...the man seen here...is now behind bars for the shooting death of officer thomas cottrell. investigators say jones' ex-girlfriend called in to dispatchers...saying he was looking to target an officer.... police later found officer cottrell dead behind the danville municipal building. we'll continue to update you on this story as we get more information. the u-s embassy in iraq is now confirming that several americans are missing after an arab news channel reported that 3-americans were kidnapped by militants in baghdad an embassy spokesman says the u-s is working with iraqi authorities to located the missinig americans, but would not say who they are or why they were in iraq. rescuers are expanding their search for twelve u-s marines missing near hawaii. they vanished flying in two helicopters that apparently collided off oahu island thursday. the coast guard says its search now extends eight miles out from the north shore area.
