steve horstmeyer. steve? winter storm watch late thursday night into saturday morning for owen, grant, pendleton, bracken, robertson, mason, lewis, brown, adams tonight with temps dipping into the teens re-freezing will be a problem in some areas especially untreated roads and rural areas. tomorrow will be dry with some sunshine but clouds build late in the day. friday is has issued a winter storm watch for the southern and southeastern counties of the fox19 now viewing area. traffic animation

let's give you an update on the traffic conditions on the interstates right now. you're looking live at 71,74 and 75 in different parts of the tri-state. things seem to be moving along right now.... but there are still plenty of slick spots in the area. and no one knows that better than our own mike schell who joins us live. mike, you've been driving around all day... where are you at now? earlier today i found some parts of the tri-state where the snow is still getting the better of them. every time we see scenes like this

seven year low the savings have been good for this store's bottom line. brandon----with the decrease in gas prices it makes it extremely convenient to not worry about budgeting or scheduling in any certain way so the decrease has benefitted us in tremendous ways. this van racks up about 700 miles a week, but filling it up costs about half of what it did a year and a half ago. cheaper gas is almost like a pay raise for jeff mcintosh who delivers pizzas for adriaticos. jeff----we do a good 20 or so throughout the day so it does eat up a lot of our time so the lower prices definitely helping out. and for the average motorist the price drop means more money in their pocket. austin----i fill my car up for about 15 bucks so i can't complain you know it's a lot better than when it was three or four bucks. mike----to fill even a small car up i spend 40 or 50 bucks now it's less than 20 bucks to fill it up and i usually fill it up a couple of times a week. steven-----on a monthly budget it saves me about 150-bucks a month. and what are motorists doing with the savings? steven------we just

man came into the hardy's-marathon gas station on dickerson lane last wednesday night... showing a handgun and demanding money! as you can see, the clerk handed over some cash... and the suspect took off on foot. if you've got any information that could help call falmouth police. a warren county man will now spend the next 10 years in jail following his sentencing today. 26-year old austin wells who was convicted last year of involuntary manslaughter... for giving a man drugs that led to his overdose. the warren county prosecutor says first conviction of hope to send a message to other drug dealers in the area. the downward street continues with another poor closing bell... take a look at the final numbers. the dow ended the day down nearly 250 points... and at one point, it was down more than 500. the nas-daq was down a little over 5
