the work week digging themselves out of the snow and ice after this weekend's crippling and record breaking winter storm. the blizzard killed at least 15 people, grounded thousands of flights... and essentially shutting down new york city, philadelphia and washington d-c all buried under about 2-feet of snow... d-c's mayor warned of a possible problems on the roads today because of black ice. "we expect that with the temperature dropping tonight and every night this week that we will see continued slick and dangerous roadways, so continue to stay off of the roadways." today the major airlines hope to resume regular service at airports affected by the blizzard. i checked c-v-g's website -- most flights to and from the east coast are flying as scheduled.. but there are a few cancellations to and from new york city and d-c an emergency response team will be on-site today, to evaluate damage at lake cumberland. heavy snow

mother of three dies more than a week after being shot duriing a drive by. police say 24-year- old iesha williams was hit when several people opened fire as they drove by her car in bond hill. investigators believe she was caught in the crossfire. her family is pleading for help including her sister. asking for the public's help as they search for three inmates who escaped from a maximum-security jail in southern california. officials say they cut their way through a grate, went through plumbing tunnels... and eventually used linens tied together to rappel down from the roof. police are now investigating if they had any help. just as we would take a look at somebody on the do the same thing on the outside and try to determine in fact any help or any transportation. it's very clear that once they made it to the ground they fled on foot, but again whether or not anybody was waiting for them or played into this larger plan, that's part of this investigation." the men were discovered missing during a head count on friday. now 50-thousand dollars is being offered for information for that leads to their capture. new video released
