"we stopped, but we didn't know that we were snowed in that we would be there for that long, we thought maybe it was a standstill but all of a sudden it just started to pile up" the national guard finally freed the bus... the students didn't have to go very far... they were one exit away from their hotel the entire time.

friday afternoon. that's just as the storm was beginning to hit the d-c area. chase said he left it in the window until late saturday night. michigan attorney general bill schuette is set to provide an update on his investigation into the water crisis in flint today. he announced earlier this month that he would investigate what, if any, michigan laws were violated in the process that left flint's drinking water contaminated with lead. the city switched from detroit's municipal water system to the flint river in 2014 to save money. the water wasn't properly treated to prevent lead from pipes from leaching into the supply. a gainesville police officer's dash cam video goes viral.. officer bobby white follows up on a noise complaint of kids playing

and record breaking winter storm. the blizzard killed at least 15 people, grounded thousands of flights... and essentially shutting down new york city, philadelphia and washington d-c all buried under about 2-feet of snow... d-c's mayor warned of a possible problems on the roads today because of black ice.
