behind me. it happened on glendale milford road just after 6 o'clock sunday evening. fox19 now's shawn lanier has more from the her high school principal. shawn lanier: "here at milford high school there is shock and sadness tonight following the sudden and tragic loss of 16- year-old lauren wilfong." josh kauffman: "it's a tragic situation. a bright young lady with a tremendous future." here's the location of the accident that took lauren's life.. it's far different from this scene last night. it all happened after lauren left the indian hill winter club. state highway patrol says she was driving down glendale milford road when she overcorrected, crossed the center line, and struck another car. lauren later died at bethesda north hospital... at milford high school, her principal says students and faculty members both grieve and remember her. josh kauffman: "she's a student that spend a portion of her day with us, but a portion of her day she was a junior taking college level classes." kauffman says there is one thing he'll miss about lauren more than

charges today. from child child exploitation. they found new examing 44-year old steve rekowski's cell phone. the ages of the victims range from as young as 4 to 10 years old. prosecutor aaron ne-gen-guard said molested an 8 year old while making a 4 assault. also suggest that some of his victims as muscle relaxers were found in his home. so how was he able these child. the prosecutor explained to me that he would make friends with the victims' parents who may have been in a situation where they needed a baby sitter. he would develop relationship.... prosecutors say if he is found guilty on all charges he could spend the next 300 years behind bars. in indiana michael baldwin fox 19 now we broke the news on the fox19 now

it's been almost a month since otto warmbier, an american college student and former wyoming high school graduate was detained in north korea. we talked to senator rob portman today while he was at the community alternative sentencing center in batavia about what is being done to bring him home. "i assume that there are ongoing discussions, from what i've hear, but i don't know." now portman says he has been in direct contact with warmbier's family and the state department. according to a china-based travel agency, warmbier is being held over an unspecified incident at his hotel before he was scheduled to board a flight for beijing on january 2nd. an inependence man is facing two counts of murder following a new years eve crash that killed two people. he appeared in court via video this morning. medical records show that 57-year old mark huffman had a blood alcohol level nearly three times the legal limit at the time of the crash that killed ella and david mcnay, along with opiates and other drugs. now, a warrant
