in evanston to give residents an opportunity to talk with city leader about the problems plauging their community. fox19 now's frankie jupiter was at that meeting. frankie what was said?. community members here in evanston spoke about the gun violence, drug problems and lack of development here in the community. tonight chief eliot isaac also speaking about a crime fighting strategy in the works. "we just need to put the policeman where the drug people are." there was standing room only at this public input session inside of the evanston recreation center. community members addressed issues of gun violence, drug dealing, unemployment, and lack of development. it's the first of five in a series of open forums.

approach. live in evanston frankie jupiter fox19 now. now the michigan attorney general says the water in flint is not even safe enough to 'bathe a newborn.' the water supply.. in flint... is so unsafe - the attorney general is warning parents to keep their children away from it.. the lead-tainted water crisis is drawing donations of bottled water, filters and supplies... but many people still do not have access to clean water.. bill schuette/michigan attorney general "the water right now in flint, they're not using it to water their yard, right, in the winter? and secondly, if you can't drink it, you shouldn't pay for it. and i think it's an outrage to expect that people would pay for something that you can't drink." replacing the damaged pipes would cost as much as one and a half billion dollars, a price tag city officials say they can't afford.

yeah tricia the detials outlined in this affidavid are disturbing. it shows a man telling children to keep quite and not to tell their parents while he allegeldy sexually assaulted them. prosecutors told me they were able to get incriminating evidence off of 44 year old steven rekowski's phone. he was already in prison from a sex assault case earlier this month where the mother of the 4-year-old vicitm made a citizens arrest unti police came. new court records detail what happened to at least 6 other vicitms who ranged from ages 4 to 10. prosecutors say they have video of a 10 year engagging in a sex act that rekowski recorded on his phone. the affidavit says "the child appears to be passed out from some sort of drug." in another case, prosecutor arron ne-gen-gaurd said he had two children take part in a sex act at the same time. he was having the n8 year old touch her mouth with his bleep
