the visitation for 16-year old lauren wilfong is set for 5 until 8 this evening at evans funeral home on center street. her funeral is tomorrow at 10 at saint andrew church. police say wilfong was driving on glendale milford road when her car veered off and hit an oncoming car sunday. an indiana community is mourning the loss of an elementary school principal...who died while trying to save students from a moving bus. an indianapolis school bus jumped the curb, heading toward a crowd of people. the driver told police the bus accelerated but she did not know why .... but she saw principal susan jordan pushing students out of the way before jordan was hit. parents say principal jordan will be missed. "it was like there was five of her "my son has down's so with him and kind of understood him and always made sure he was just very, very caring towards me and my family."

hospitalized with injuries. the district cancelled classes today. less than a month in office, new kentucky governor matt bevin is already slashing government spending. he announced he is immediately cutting 4-point-5 percent from the current budget... for a total of 117- million in reductions, that don't require legislative approval. for every dollar state agencies received this year, they will get 91 cents in the next two years. but bevin's cuts are not across the board. he shielded spending on k-12 public education, programs for military veterans, health insurance for the poor, and drug treatment programs. there is a new addition to newport plaza! a fresh thyme grocery store is opening up. kara dblbx our jessica brown is live there where some people are already lining up, anxious to check it
