have anything in common get together and have great dates and fantastic relationships. sometimes you can have an immediate attraction or connection to someone, and the people are polar opposites. in dating, anything is possible. - get specific who your ideal mate is: i've seen many patients that when i ask them who their ideal mate is, they have no idea. get really clear of the qualities you want in your ideal mate. write down what your ideal mate looks like physically, mentally and emotionally. writing it down, seeing it on paper and reading it over and over again helps to ingrain it into the subconscious mind which acts like a magnet. - remember the details: people are always impressed when you meet them in the future and remember details about them. remembering makes them feel special and creates emotional entanglement. it also shows you're thoughtful and pay attention to them. if you want to go from casual dating to a real relationship, remember the details. - stop focusing on sex: i work with many couples who experience problems in the bedroom. if a medical professional rules out a physical problem, it's more than likely a lack of an emotional connection. engage in activities that focus on building up your emotional bonds with your partner and the result is usually better sex. go skydiving together, ride a rollercoaster together or just do something exhilarating that brings you closer together. rob 2shot coming up...
