a person has been found dead in the street with five gunshot wounds. good evening i'm megan o-rourke. the investigation is happening on franklin avenue in bond hill. let's get right to fox19 now's mike schell with the very latest information... mike remote good evening megan... this shooting appears to be the result of a drug deal gone bad... cincinnati police have left the scene and right now they are taking a look at the evidence they've gathered. when officers responded to a shots fired call here on franklin they found a man lying dead in the street...the victim of an apparent drug deal that didn't go as

victim was in his late 20's or early 30's and shot at least five times. he was pronounced dead at the scene. several community outreach advocates were here as well to help the neighbors. authorities say at least one potential witness was escorted to district headquarters for questioning. no information on the suspect has been released as this point. police say it appears the victim was also trying to leave the scene after he was shot broxterman "it looks like he was shot, um, at the, there's some shell casings in front of that brown apartment building and it looks like he ran away from the building and collapsed in the middle of the street." mike remote this happened just as school was letting out this afternoon... bond hill elementary...which is about 3 blocks away...was on shutdown for a short time until officers were able to secure the area. tonite at ten you'll hear how one woman is afraid to leave her own home after this happened just a few hundred feet from her front door. reporting live in

also breaking now... 2 people are dead following a serious crash in hillsboro this afternoon. this picture was sent to us by the hillsboro times gazette. it happened on route 50 near kier road around 1 this afternoon when police say a car went off the side of the road, over- corrected and hit a van head on! the two people inside the car were killed, the driver of the van had minor injuries. no word yet on what may have caused the crash. caught on camera! cops roll up on a parking lot and find a man who overdosed. they inject him with narcan.. and now tonight.. they want to know who abandoned him. it's a mystery.. with the only lead being this body camera footage. it all happened in the white castle parking lot on hamilton avenue around 1-45 this morning. live now megan rem pic let's give you an idea of where we're talking about... a live look at the location.... fox19 now's shawn lanier spoke with authorities late this afternoon.

mt .healthy police department, officers are now spending resources they don't have trying to help catch someone who leaves someone for heroin." narcan" here's body cam video of a mt. healthy officer using narcan to bring this man, nathaniel clark, he was left for dead at this white castle parking lot now clark is counscious at the drug charges, and mt. healthy police are looking for the person who left him in this parking lot. vince demasi: "it's mind boggeling and heartless. it's absolutly heartless." heartless, but common according to mt. healthy's police chief. he says he's never seen anything like it in 40 year of working in law enforcement. vince demasi: "to be able to have the lack of any kind of moral compass to throw an individual out in thte middle of a parking lot who's no longer breathing." chief demasi goes on to say it's this kind of activity that stretches his department thin. vince demasi: "we don't

"dispatcher: did she say her? caller: she said somebody tried to rape her and she is trying to get out of the graveyard. a white truck."

9-1-1 call the suspect is a white man with brown hair. he was wearing a black shirt... blue jeans and sunglasses driving a black... not... white pick-up truck as initially reported. if you know anything please call crime stoppers at 513- 352-3040. two and a half months after a roof collapse forced people out of their avondale apartment building... residents are celebrating a victory. the collapse that happened november 10th... revealed scores of health and safety violations. fox19 now's gordon graham tells us how a judge has ordered the low- income property to be turned over to somebody else. open------the court heard a lot of testimony today both for and against turning over five apartment complexes to a receiver. judge beth meyers has already declared those five apartment complexes, owned by a new jersey family, to be public nuisances and now judge meyers says those properties need to be managed by someone else. beth------i do find that a receiver should be

target employee who allegedly stole 15 hundred dollars from a store has admitted to it. police say 24-year stole the cash from the target on plainfield road in blue ash between october 20th and november 26th of last year. police say allen said he did it in order to better provide for his daughter. six people shot and killed by police officers, has spawned a nationwide discussion that just made its way to the university of cincinnati. experts from around the country... including local law enforcement agencies... are talking about race and policing during a two-day conference that kicked off today at the tangeman center. this is video from the conference

those five residents from panorama apartments in presented a second their zumba routine. seniors got talent contest. we had a zumba teacher, thta we are doing today. we also added our own moves, things like that. tweaked it to make it our own." the ladies won a $500 dollar prize which they decided to donate to the panorama benevolent fund, which is a way for their neighbors to help one another in times of need with no-cost loans. jeff weather
