identified. 24-year old cameron clemmons was found dead on franklin avenue...right in the middle of the street...this was right near bond hill elementary school. police say it appears clemmons was the victim of a drug deal gone wrong.. shortly after the shooting, fox19's mike schell spoke to neighbors who are in shock about what happened. 1alice "i rushed home to see what was going on to make sure my family was safe." when alice bledsoe arrived at her house she couldn't believe what had happened just a few hundred feet from her front door. 2alice "i saw a dead body on the street and it just hurt my feelings. it hurt my heart to know that people are getting killed daily for sensless

now, this isn't the first time an incident like this has happened in that area. since last september.... 5 women have been sexually assaulted in and around the greenwood cemetey. one woman, who has asked to heep her identity anonymous says she was hitchiking, looking for her boyfriend on christmas eve.. when a man came and picked her up. "he pulled a knife on me and told me that basically i was going to do what he wanted me to do. he told me not to get out of the car or else he would cut my face up. police have not said if they believe all five incidents were related, but, almost all the victims say the person had a knife and demanded a sexual act. mount healthy police are looking for the man they say "left a man for dead" in a white castle parking lot! take a look at this body camera footage sent out by the department. it show's e-m-s crews reviving nathaniel clark... who police say overdosed on heroin. he's now at the justice center on drug charges... but investigators want to know who was

"it's mind boggling and it's heartless. it's absolutely heartless." butted to "i'm going to try and find out who did it. i'm going to try and put him in jail, and i'm going to try and put him in jail for a long time." mt. healthy police say they handed the investigation over to the heroin coalition. water crisis turning now to the water crisis in flint michigan... governor rick snyder has signed a bill that will send 28-million dollars in emergency funds to help the situation. that money will help repair damaged pipes and treat those facing lead poisoning from the water. the problem started when the city switched it's water supply from lake huron to the flint river... later learning that the water had high levels of iron and lead. if you want to help the situation in flint, michigan....listen up. the norwood police department is partnering with with avenues for success, norwood city schools and kroger for a water driver. you can drop off "bottled water" donations from now till 5 o'clock this evening at the kroger in norwood.

bevin wants kentucky's colleges and universities to have more engineering and less french majors.... his words. the first term republican governor says there's a workforce shortage in kentucky....claiming the problem is that colleges aren't producing degrees for jobs that are actually available. bevin is calling for a new model that would give more funding to colleges to help produce engineers. critics say students don't want limits on what they can learn, and that adding a broad education can be helpful in choosing a career. there are new jobs coming to boone county. the kentucky economic development board says 2 international companies plan to invest $300 million dollars into new operation centers in northern kentucky. the move creates about 160 new jobs. fedex is planning a $150 million dollar expansion in boone county. messier- bugatti plans a 150 million dollar expansion in walton. happening today dan 2shot desk a local organization is taking food and coats to those who need it most.

people in hillsboro yesterday afternoon. this picture we are about to show you was sent to us by the hillsboro times gazette from the scene. it happened on route 50 near kier road around 1 o'clock . police say a car went off the side of the road, over- corrected and hit a van head on! the two people inside the car were killed, the driver of the van had minor injuries. no word yet if speed or impairment may have been factors.

search for escaped california inmates. investigators say the three men stole the van a day after they escaped a southern california jail. one of the three inmates -- bac duong --surrendered yesterday to police and is now back in jail. police believe the other two fugitives are still in california. one of the men, still on the lose, hossein nayeri is the suspected ringleader. police say he had an inappropriate relationship with teacher at the jail.
