old was involved in a drive by shooting. they are telling us it happened somewhere around 7:15 tonight. now the person devante settles. it was over here in the 5500 hundrend avenue. police are telling me the know he was shot once and possibly twice in the back. he was taken to uc hosptial and is in stable condition now amazingly, was able to walk to stations, he was able to get help from police. investigators haven't been able to talk to him yet so the only describtion of the vehicle that shot at him is a black toyota. police tell me there are some witnesses and they plan on talking to them to get more information. police don't have a lot to go on at this point but again they a leaning toward this being a drive by shooting. it appears to have been it appears that he was on the walk way and the info we have now is that shots were fired from that vehicle once again the victims name in this is 23 yea-old

"i'm just basically putting out the message that we need to as parents get more involved

tonight after recorded jail phone calls, revealed a sexual relationship with a 15 year old girl. 20 year old devon cardwell was arrested in december after mason police say he used a counterfeit bill to pay a pizza delivery driver. today, a grand jury indicted cardwell for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, having weapons under disability, drug trafficking, and theft among others. developing now it's being called a "public health emergency." as zika zee-ka virus continues to spread... tri-state health experts are paying very close attention. our ben katko is at the city health department tonight. he has a word of warning for you. here at the city's health department... they're one of many paying close attention to the spread of the virus. it is expected we'll see some cases here. for one group... that news is especially dangerous. when it comes to

westwood.. attending a town hall... to discuss ways to stop violence in cincinnati. mayor john cranley along with police chief eliot isaac have been holding a series of town halls - on violent crime.. two more meetings are scheduled for later this month. the line of duty death of cincinnati firefighter daryl gordon is leading to the loss of several other firefighters. more than double the expected number now are hanging up their hats. gordon died fighting a fire in madisonville on march 26th. now retirements in the cincinnati fire department are soaring, pushing overtime costs from the 1-point-6 million dollars budgeted... to a projected 4-million dollars. the former director of campus safety for thomas more college appeared in court
