streets... to help build better relationships with this part of their city. in covington's 200- year history... just this week... something happened there that's never happened before. lt. col. rob nader/covington pd "we want to be ahead of the curve. we think this is a need for the future." covington police lt. col. rob nader is one of two cops on the force taking on a new role. he's going to be part of a communication connection between the lgbt community and the police. lt. col. rob nader "every neighborhood or community within our city has unique wants or needs when addressing quality of life issues." the cincinnati police department already has one of these liasions. covington consulted them in crafting their program. steve newsome/human rights campaign "we found in the city of cincinnati that a lot of residents will go to the lgbt liasion with questions or with their experiences both positive and negative." last year... covington scored a 57 on the human rights campaign municipal equality

say he's been diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic and requires medication. if you know anything - call police. an update now on a story you heard first on fox19 now. u-c police have arrested a suspect tied to the recent string of panty thefts from a dorm on campus! 24-year old dennis mccormick was arrested this afternoon... charged with theft and criminal trespassing! according to court documents, mccormick entered daniels hall posing as a student and allegedly stole panties from 7 different students! some property owners in lawrenceburg and greendale indiana maybe entitled to part of 1 point 2 million dollars. it's part of a class action lawsuit settlement. this after ethanol emissions from a local distillery caused damage to some properties. fox19 now's frankie jupiter has more. this is the claim form that some

"it's disgusting if you want to know the truth. it's totally disgusting." jackie turner has been living off and on in her childhood home for 75 years. "and i've never seen it like this, honestly never seen it like this." ms. turner shows us what she calls mold on the side of her home. its effect from ethanol emissions from what local call the old seagram's distillery, which was owned by pernod ricard at the time of the suit. the ethanol emission can cause the growth of mold. local police chase. inside the suspects' sheriff's department say it took them by surprise. doing a lot more damage than just shopping sprees. watch out for now! a 56-year-old man has been charged with sexually assaulting two woman at a local hospital. mark rivers was in court today and faces two counts of sexual imposition. according to court documents rivers was a patient at good samaritan hospital... he went into a hospital room and got into another patient's bed while the woman was "taking a nap" police say he gropped two women before nurses were alerted. we did reach out to good sam

speed chase for dozens of miles.. fox 19 now's mike schell....has the lastest tricia.. this was a case where several police agencies worked together to bring this chase to a successful end.. the kentucky state police and the hamilton county sherff's department... the chase began in lincoln heights and ended here near the skyline chili in harrison.. police say it lasted for 55 miles...through ohio, kentucky and indiana...and reached speeds of at least 90 miles per hour.. authorities say at some points along the way...the suspect mostly like thought they were home free.. 1mark "sometimes what happens when the ground units break off of a pursuit and someone feels like they're not being pursued anymore than
