house fire in warren county. our jordan vilines joins us live from the scene in lebanon. a woman inside the home heard the smoke detectors and ran over to a neighbors house, the neighbor called 911, when firefighters arrived, they saw smoke and flames coming from the back bedroom of the single story home, the fire originated on the mattress inside of that bedroom, they found a deceased male inside the bedroom, here's what the fire chief said about what happened when they arrived on scene "fire crews initiated search and rescue efforts and were able to recover one

it is unknown if the victim had any connection to the church. tense moments downtown overnight... after smoke filled the basement of the tower place mall in the carew tower. crews blocked off streets for a while as they worked to clear the smoke. no one was hurt. cincinnati police are still piecing together what caused a man to crash his s-u-v into the side of a westwood apartment complex. investigators say the driver lost control on mchenry avenue... but aren't saying why. no one was inside at the time. the driver was taken to u-c medical center with non-life threatening injuries. a massive expansion for the creation museum is just one step away from becoming a reality. answers in genesis went before the boone county planning and zoning commission to get approval for the plans. the group also showed these plans, which would nearly triple the size on the

cincinnati a convicted killer learns his fate for escaping from a new york prison last year. david sweat was shot and captured in june after a three-week manhunt. he apologized before he was sentenced. "i would like to apologize to the community. and people who felt the fear and felt it necessary to leave their homes or community because of the escape that was never my intent." sweat, who is already serving life behind bars, was sentenced to additional prison time and ordered to pay nearly $80- thousand dollars in restitution. another inmate who escaped with him was shot and killed by police. a 9-year-old girl miraculously escapes a fire without any injuries... after she jumps

trip to haiti takes a turn for the worst after the entire clan was exposed to the zika virus. "i mostly had a headache and was hurting behind my eyes the whole time really badly." a middletown admits to endangering children... 8 kids were police called a "horrible" home last week. court records gevedon pleaded guilty to four counts of endangering children.. four additional counts were dropped. she has been ordered back to court for a pre- sentencing report on march 2nd. meantime, her husband anthony gevedon, senior, pleaded not guilty to the same 8 counts.. he will have a pre- trial hearing next week. the journal- news is reporting that anthony said members of the family's church have cleaned up the home and made repairs. today... the woman accused of driving into five utility workers back in april, is due in a butler county courtroom today.

michelle schuster is charged with aggravated vehicular homicide. 24-year-old amber rooks died of her injuries following the crash. court records show schuster will be given the option to enter a plea... otherwise, a trial date will be set. covington police are still piecing together the details of a so called home invasion. this is a picture of the man shot. his family tells us his name is michael miller. they say he went to this home on warren street to get his stuff when he was shot. the homeowner called police to report an intruder. police would not go into detail about exactly what happened but the family of one of the men shot michael miller told us their story.
