two new york city police officers are being treated at the hospital -- after they were shot and wounded in the bronx overnight. police say the male and female officers were on patrol in a public housing complex when they were confronted by an armed man who shot them. officer say one officer was hit in the face, the other in the abdomen. police say the suspect fled the scene and later shot and killed himself. we're learning more about a local youth pastor charged with sex crimes involving children. joseph niemeyer is in jail this morning on a 100-thousand dollar bond...accused of sexually abusing a 7-year old girl inside his home for three years. we've now learned he volunteered twenhofel middle school, with the group, fellowship of christian athletes. kenton county school officials say all of niemeyer's background checks came back clean, and he was never alone with students. he is no longer volunteering at the school. crews are expected to wrap up work soon on a mudslide that's been causing quite

delta announced that 120 jobs in the cargo department will be gone by may... and another 185 workers will see their hours cut. those affected... will be given the opportunity to transfer to another location. delta says the department has been overstaffed for the last 6 years....and they thought they could fix it by attrition...but that didn't work. it's still not clear

schedules. the man who lead the occupation of a national wildlife refuge in oregon last month, is speaking out from jail. ammon bundy released a recorded statement after being indicted by a federal grand jury for taking over the federal land. in all, 16 occupiers are now facing charges. this is the first we are hearing from bundy outside a written statement. ammon bundy, protest leader "the results of government officials ignoring the people, are acts like the takeover of the malheur refuge. taking over the refuge was not only right, it was the duty of the people to do." most of the occupiers are still in jail, but two have been released. spokesman lavoy finicum was killed last week in the confrontation with law enforcement officials that led to the arrests. no more sleeping on the subway. new york city's police commissioner is instructing police officers to wake sleeping passengers in an effort to keep them safe. more than half of all subway crime in the past year

finally came. marietta's law director discovered a little known statute, that gave hickey the first opportunity to buy his k-9 partner, ajax. he paid one dollar to the city- but more than 70- thousand dollars was raised on a go fund me page... money that will not go to waste.
