centinal where one of two suspects was caught we are told he was taken away in an ambulance and we will tell you why in a second. the chase started on cook street. an alert officer out here notice two people trying to break into a home. what's not clear is if the homeowner was inside at the time. blue ash police would chase two suspects. a foot chase would ensue. one of the suspects would be caught just down the road here on florence. he was atually caught by a montgomery police officer. the second suspect would be chased through a back yard here on centinal. police brought in the canine unit and the dog chased the suspect and apprehended him. we spoke with one of the officers a short time ago who told us it was just the dog taking a bite out of crime.

edge. tonight a community meeting with police, as many have concerns about safety. fox19 now's frankie jupiter was at that meeting. frankie people obviously very concerned. yes they are... the peace and quiet of folk homes was shatter as gunshots rang out two days ago, now residents want to get back to normalcy. trying to come up with a plan to fill say again. gary and janet noland have lived here in their home in hazelwood for 15 years. they're just a few steps away from where sunday's shootout happened and down the street from where community members are meeting with concerns. "very concerned, everybody is, to have bullets flying in this neighborhood. it's something that we never expected." sunday is a time the nolands could have

west chester crash has plead guilty... 18-year old tristan lacey's accused of influence when he lost control and crashed his car near the beckett ridge golf club... this was the scene in december.. the crash killed his passenger, 18- valentine. shows that lacey legal limit at the he pleaded 'guilty' to aggravated vehicular homicde.... and will face two to eight years behind bars.. and a lifetime suspension of his license. he'll be sentenced march ninth.

reaction still coming in tonight as the reds remember former clubhouse manager bernie stowe. tom browning telling fox19 now bernie stowe is a reds icon. joe morgan saying he's a big reason the big red machine won two championships. bernie passed away today at eighty- years-old. he retired in 2014 after 67-years on the job with the reds. johnny bench tonight posting this picture saying bernie is now in better hands. this tonight from reds owner bob castellini: "there is no one in the reds' family more loved - admired - and respected than bernie stowe. for almost 70 years he deeply touched the lives of our players our coaching staffs - and our front office." two of bernie's sons currently run the clubhouses at great american ball park. and - i can tell you there is still a picture of bernie next to jay bruce's locker. the reds say they will announce funeral plans on

confirmed that there are now 2 confirmed cases of the zika virus in ohio... both in the cleveland area. indiana also have a case of the virus too. the news has agencies on high alert in the tri- often targets pregnant women... and now ... the white house... is expressing concern... anne schuchat, md, principal deputy director for cdc "the mosquito that spreads zika virus is an aggressive daytime fighter. it lives outside and inside the home and it can be pretty hard to control it." the president is asking congress.. for one point eight billion.. dollars to help fight zika.. cdc officials... warn a vaccine may not be widely available... for a few years. you decide 2016

head to the polls hamilton county election officials much smoother november election, technology and even a court order open late. our megan tonight to tell us been made to avoid come march 15th. i talked with the director here at the hamilton county board of elections earlier tonight and she tells me they've months looking identifying issues, and then finding solutions....anythin g to avoid a repeat. "nat-----i'm not really sure what the problem is, but i can go ahead, i can take all the information down since we implemented some new equipment. "she can be temperamental laughs i see that, but she's very outgoing." like most new moms, twilla walker is getting to know her baby. little myia my-uh is just starting to crawl...but not on the family's little room floor. she lives in the prison nursery at the ohio reformatory for women in marysville. seven-month-old myia is incarcerated with her mother. "when i first got here, i was four months pregnant, i was nervous because i didn't know what it expect." twilla says she worried once her daughter was born, myia would be given to family while twilla served a three-year sentence for passing bad checks. "it's easy to get into trouble, even here, so having my daughter with me here has really helped me work on myself." she qualified for the abc's or achieving baby care success program. non-violent

who are pregnant when they enter prison are eligible. behind this glass -- the nursery is housed in a special wing, away from the general population. the babies sleep in cribs in their mothers' cells. moms shop for supplies once a week. there's also a closet full of donated baby clothes. children can stay in the program up to 36 months and the mother and child are always released together. right now there are eight babies growing up here. "he's an attention seeker, he loves time." six-month matthew is the handsome mohawk. his mom martina was seven months got here. matthew will be ready for preschool when they get out. milestones -- like steps -- will all happen here -- in a kid-colored space like a daycare than martina says being best incentive she could have. a child on the outside. they'll tell you they weren't good parents." warden ronette burkes says the women are kept to a schedule and are responsible for caring for their children. screened inmates do serve as nannies so the moms can attend school, perform jobs and receive training. burkes said she knows there are those who think babies don't belong in prison, but says there are safeguards in place. "we really promote parenting. the moms in the nursery really don't have some of the liberties that the other women on the compound do." twilla knows she "did wrong" on the outside...she's just hoping here...with myia, she can finally "get it right." here is to prepare me for the outside, to go back into the real world and that my main focus, to stay focused, the program is funded with federal grant successful? state and federal shows moms who participate in prison nursery programs like ohio's are much less likely to re- offend. kara
