week. but, that spree came to an abrupt stop just a few hours ago... walk hplaz minutes after our megan o'rourke interviewed officers about the investigation. she's live tonight to tell us how it all unfolded. tricia, if there was ever a case of being in the right place, at the right time this was it. we were here at the erlanger police department earlier tonight, interviewing the a sergent about their search. he had gone home for the day, but came back to talk to us...and it was minutes later...everything went down. 3 "you know, just luck of the draw. couldn't have worked any better" sgt. jon sterling was headed home when he decided to make one last stop...a quick check of a nearby address they'd recieved through a tip. he pulled over to use his computer...his personal camera was rolling... 1 "and no sooner than i went to pull back on the highway and i see the man looking at me through the window of his car...." the silver car you see here, not only matched the description of the northern kentucky serial bank robbery suspect, but it also had the same ohio plates. sots 5 "that's him, especially the way he looked up at me. from the window of his car it was the look

away at this particular minute just absolute luck" sgt. sterling followed the suspect, who is zachary prince, to his may street home. he got him out of handcuffs. prince is now a suspect in 3 bank robberies...includin g one at the fifth third in covington before his capture. he's also linked to hold ups at the b-b and t in erlanger, and u-s bank in ft. mitchell. police are also investigating a possible connection to an attempted robbery at a circle k, another bank in florence and a bank deposit theft, where the suspect pulled a gun. now, all the the agencies are working together...relieved this spree may finally have been stopped. sot 6 "if he hadn't been caught, any doubt this would have continued? i think so...based on some of the things i talked to his family about, its just heartbreaking because it's the condition of a

trump holds a rally in south carolina.. an update on the house still ahead. a clermont county man ... is the last to surrender... in the armed protest at a national wildlife refuge in oregon.. the final four hold outs surrendered today, including 27-year-old clermont county resident david fry. check out these aerial pictures as the final four armed occupiers... were taken into custody, bringing an end to a standoff that started 41 days ago. back on january second, a group opposing the federal government's use of the land .... seized the refuge. controversial

cliven bundy was arrested on his way to the oregon refuge. bundy's son started the armed occupation weeks ago. he was arrested last month. right now we're waiting for the pendleton county sheriff's office to release the name of the person killed in a fiery crash on kentucky 17. we just checked with investigators, but they're not releasing it yet. a semi and a pickup truck collided in falmouth before 6:00 this morning. the crash left the highway shut down for six hours. witnesses tell us the driver of the semi and a neighbor tried desperately to free the man from the burning pick-up, but couldn't get him out. you can see the how massive the damage was. "i heard some of the gas tanks blow off one of them. a boom. and flames were shooting up way into those trees." "they obviously did everything they possibly could and i respect them for doing what they and i appreciate what they tried to do. it was just

in response to the crisis in flint, michigan.. the house has passed a bi-partisan bill.. that holds the e-p-a accountable for keeping the public informed of high lead levels in drinking water. the bill directs the e-p-a to notify state officials within 24 hours when water contamination is detected at a certain level. then, if the state does not alert the public within 24 hours after that, the e-p-a must do it. a haircut horror -- unfolding at a california barber shot ... you're looking at a barbershop in california... where a woman unhappy with her new do... allegedly tried to shoot her barber. barber manny montero says 29- year-old andrian swain seemed pleased with her cut ... when she left. and even tipped him 20-bucks. but just an hour later, she returned .. armed with a gun, complaining about the haircut. witnesses say swain tried to shoot montero three times -- but the gun did not fire. manny montero, barber : "she messed it up with
