to determine what caused an overnight house fire. kara dblbx fox19 now's jordan vilines is live on the scene with what we know this morning... a man escaped a house fire in the 10000 block of flintrock bluff early monday, fire officials said. he was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation and was not taken to a hospital, they said. the man is expected to recover. flames broke out just before 11 p.m. in the garage, according to the fire department. fire crews said they were able to contain the blaze to the garage, but heat and smoke damage is throughout the rest of the house. damage was set at $60,000. the cause is accidental, but what exactly sparked the fire remains under investigation. the man who was displaced is staying with relatives, according to the fire department. vo

might want to invite your co-workers and friends to happy hour after work. or you can make cocktails at home. joining us this morning is catherine manabat with watershed distillery guest: catherine manabat standard sour mix: 1 cup water 1 cup sugar 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 cup freshly squeezed lime juice in a medium size sauce pan over medium high heat add sugar and water. stir until sugar dissolves, bring to a boil, then turn off heat. allow mixture to cool and then add lemon juice and lime juice and stir. store in an airtight container and keep in the fridge. grapefruit sour mix 1 cup water 1 cup sugar 1 cup grapefruit

1 cup shredded fennel fronds extract sauce pan over medium high heat water. stir until and then vanilla extract and fennel fronds. bring mixture up a to boil, and then lower heat. simmer for 15 minutes. strain simple syrup and once mixture has cooled add grapefruit juice and lemon juice. lady margarite oz tequila oz watershed bourbon barrel aged gin oz triple sec 2 oz grapefruit sour mix add all ingredients to a shaker tin, shake very well and strain onto new ice. garnish with a grapefruit round or fennel frond.
