arraignments for paul gaston... good evening i'm frankie jupiter. gaston was shot and killed by police earlier this month. police say gaston on the ground and they say he was reaching for a waistband. out to be an airsoft pistol. we now know... there will be a visitation and funeral for gaston... on wednesday. there will be a visitation from 11 to 1... at the gwen mooney funeral home... on spring grove followed by the funeral... and a burial service at spring grove cemetery. and... now final preparations are underway for a black lives matter protest about his death.... fox 19 now's sara celi joins us now with more on the protest. sara? they're having it here.. at 3pm... sunday afternoon. the group is demanding justice for paul gaston..

we spoke with family members of paul gaston about this this afternoon... the family said they were not contacted by black lives matter activists about this rally, but gaston's uncle, lawrence williams give me this statement: "i think the mayor, the police chief, and the city manager have already made an assumption. they just left us in the air. the police wanted to shoot him. he didn't have a real gun." we also reached out ot cincinnati police for a comment this afternoon. we are still waiting to hear back. reporting live, sara celi, fox 19 now. take a look at this... a social media fire storm... over a piece of artwork at north oldham high school... just outside of louisville. police officer david hamblin posted the photo from his daughters' honors english class on facebook. the work done by a student last year depicts a klan

year-old man was hit in the shoulder and grazed in the head this afternoon... at the colerain food market on colerain avenue near kirby road. the man was able to run down the street to get help. he's expected to make a full recovery. police say they are looking for a teenage suspect. a union township firefighter is battling a rare form of cancer. and tonight he's not fighting alone as supporters attend a fundraiser to help the husband and father of three. nats bag pipes inside the fire museum of greater cincinnati, a strong show of support for this man. union township firefighter carl murray. back in december he was diagnosis with dpc, short for digital papillary carcinoma, which is a rare, slow growing, malignant tumor. the u.s. attorney for the district that covers the greater cincinnati area is resigning. carter stewart announced his resignation... effective march 11. after his resignation, he plans on joining a columbus-area nonprofit. he has been in the office since 2009. a cincinnati police officer was hurt during a foot chase. the officer suffered a minor shoulder injuring while pursuing a suspect in the 24- hundred block of harrison avenue in westwood. the suspect got away. the officer was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. no word on how the officer got hurt... or why he was chasing the suspect a man is facing charges tonight... after being accused of videotaping women using the restroom at bethesda north hospital in hamilton. according to court documents, daniel schantz, hid his cell phone under a cabinet and recorded women
