deadly crash that killed a mother and child in cold spring. police say a woman was driving southbound on alexandria pike when she crossed the center line, hitting another car head-on. a mother and child were in that car that was run into...and were pronounced dead at the scene. the driver of the other vehicle was taken to u-c medical center. no names have been released. new information in the death of a hamilton firefighter. the butler county coroner has ruled that smoke inhalation killed patrick wolterman. he died at a hospital, after responding to a house fire on pater avenue back in december. the coroner also officially ruled the death a homicide because the fire was arson.
