deadly crash that killed a mother and child in cold spring. was driving southbound on alexandria pike the center line, head-on. the mother and child were in the second car. they were pronounced dead at the scene. the driver of the other vehicle was taken to u-c medical center. no names have been released. a west-end mom will be in court this morning... accused of falsely reporting her newborn was missing. na'cole benton is the woman police say mislead them to believe that her baby was in her car when it was stolen outside of home. this type of incident is something law enforcement say they do not take lightly and now.... she is facing some hefty charges.
