are mising tonight. now, the warren county sheriff's office is asking for your help to find them. good evening - i'm tricia macke. our megan o'rourke spoke with family members tonight. megan, what's the latest? kallie and grant carnes haven't been seen here in south lebanon since last wednesday. her mom tells me that it's out of character for her just to up and take off... the only real clue, she says, comes from a handwritten letter kallie left at the house. 4 :12 "mom, i love you guys so much please don't worry. i'm sorry i couldn't say goodbye in person and you couldn't say bye to grant. i just needed to get away. i've been so stressed out with everyhing and i really do feel alone' erica baker reads the letter that was left on her nightstand last wednesday. it was also the last day, the south lebanon mom says she saw her daughter or grandson at home. she tells me she kissed kallie and grant goodbye in the morning and when she returned from work around 2...they were gone. kallie's cell phone

page deleted. 1 :04 "anyway that i could contact her now... gone" baker's biggest fear...is who kallie may be with. warren county deputies say a man by the name of joshua craft could be with the mother and son...despite a court order for him to have no contact with the toddler. according to court records craft pleaded guilty to assault in february after baker says he left this bruise on grant's face. 3 :17 "my main concern right now is the baby's safety, she made the choice to leave and that's her choice, but grant doesn't have a choice in the matter and i know he's abusive to grant and i don't know how far he will carry that" baker says she just wants to know where they are...and that they are safe. she tells me the not knowing, is what's hurting the most. deputies are hoping to get some answers, but are asking for help. they believe kallie and grant may be traveling in her white buick lesabre....which looks like this. license plate gmk 5233.

twice her age. this is the girl family members say is in such bad shape at u-c medical center... that she's in intensive care... in an induced coma. phoner/no font "it's bad. it's really bad." police say... 34-year old william arnold beat her. phoner/no font "she might not remember her name, who we are. she's not going to remember anything." according to a complaint filed by cincinnati police... arnold used his "personal body" and "possible unknown objects"... to beat the 16-year old. cops say he admitted to it. phoner/no font "if she didn't have her tattoos, we would not be able to tell that was her. that's how bad it is." court documents say the girl was unconscious... and taken to mercy west by arnold and someone else... before being flown to uc for emergency surgery to reduce bleeding and swelling on the brain. police add that her liver is lacerated, her lungs are collapsed, she has internal bleeding... and she has bruises

meteorologist catherine bodak if you know someone who is a student at uc tell them to be on the lookout. lookout. campus police put out an alert about a man, who has no affilation with the school... hanging out on campus. turns out he's done this before, and he's not there for higher learning. fox 19's michael baldwin is live on campus with what we know. tricia let me give you a good look his name is brian l. johnson. he has several tresspassing charges, drug charges and public indecency.

they want students to be on the look this man who has a violent history. as the night sets, sleeping with one eye open as uc police have warned brian johnson. a campus alert said he was last seen sleeping inside the residence hall. it has some saying the obvious. creepy it keeps you from and students have a concerned. this is a mug shot from last year. thats when johnson was accussed of groping a woman on uc's campus. then according to court records, he followed the victim and her friend as they headed home. now fast forward to today. campus police say he's back. the incident has students spooked. and the fact that someone is acutally just sitting in a residence hall while i'm on campus that is a little concerning when i asked some students about johnson. do you know who this guy is. no they told me they didn't really pay

just in to the fox19 now newsroom... the father of a baby critically injured when another man allegedly held his family hostage and beat the baby is speaking out. joseph correll just gave us this picture of little gabriel. the baby has been in children's hospital since reading police say they had to bring the swat team into this apartment building friday. that's where they say neil royal abused aimee correll and baby and held her at gunpoint for hours. we just spoke with the baby's father at children's hospital minutes ago. he tells fox19 now the baby was on life support, but is now breathing on his own. royal is charged with felonious assault and kidnapping. new information now on a virus ... for apple mac book users... ...for the very first time ... it seems mac users are being targeted with "ransomware" -- a malicious code that steals your files and encrypts them -- then asks you to pay money to get your files back. it was discovered last week. a piece of popular file sharing software named "transmission" was infected with the malware -- and once that software is installed on a mac -- an attack could happen within 72 hours. now apple has taken steps - by updating its antivirus software. and transmission has removed the harmful malware from its software.
