our jordan vilines joins us live from the board of elections office with the details. live according to the board of elections, there is still a need for about 200 poll workers before next week's primary. both democratic poll workers and republican workers are needed at this time. vo responsibilities of poll workers include issuing ballots, explaining how to mark the ballot, monitoring voting equipment and closing the polls. poll workers are compensated for working at a rate determined by ohio law and also compensated for attending any required training sessions. democrat poll workers are especially needed in harrison, anderson, green and whitewater townships. the city of cincinnati, lincoln heights, lockland and sharonville need republican workers. live information and applications also can be found on the board of elections website. reporting live, jordan vilines, fox 19 now.
