payer-backed loans. our investigation found million of dollars--uncollect ed--from private businesses around lawrenceburg. nearly every one of those are past due--many with balances that were supposed to have been paid off years ago. tonight, the city says it's close to a plan to get your money back. investigative reporter jody barr broke this investigation and joins us now--jody--what's the city going to do? the city's one week away from announcing a plan to get this money back. this announcement comes two weeks after we exposed the city's failures to hold itself--and these borrowers--accou ntable. consumer alert nissan announces a major car recall. it involves the electric model called "the leaf". the feds say cold weather could cause brake problems. a relay could fail, making it harder to use the brakes. the recall involves the leaf model years 20-13 to 20-15. dealers will re- program the software for free. also issuing a recall... a popular pet food company.. purina - voluntarily recalling tubs of wet dog food.. the food may not contain the recommended levels of vitamins and minerals.. the recall includes best before dates from june 2017 to august 2017..

com. today, march 13th, is national k-9 veterans day. dogs were used mostly as mascots two. in 19-42, the american kennel club helped create "dogs for defense." it was a civilian group that trained patrol u-s it was on this date -- u-s army approved the experimental program and created the k-9 corps. a few military dog facts: the k-9 corps initially trained 32 breeds. to seven. the army used about 15-hundred dogs during the korean war -- and 4-thousand in vietnam. military dogs are traditionally non- commissioned officers -- one rank higher than their some say this custom is meant to prevent handlers from mistreating their canines.
